Review Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U)
A Mira-culous discovery

It's talked up the size of the planet as being five times that of Xenoblade Chronicles, stated that any landscape you see is there to be explored, and promised that there are not only dozens of hours of legitimate gameplay, but hundreds. Often that...

"Rise! Ok, now do it faster"

For this guide, we'll focus on a handful of our favourite spots to fight enemies who are easy to deal with in a Skell, as well as...
Guide Here's How To Make That Xenoblade Chronicles X USB Drive More Useful
Hack the planet
The North American collector's edition of Xenoblade Chronicles X comes with a USB drive containing 10 tracks from the game itself. It's a neat little extra, but largely useless once you've listened to the music - which is why Nintendo Life reader Ben "mikey64" Barger has come up with this handy little hack which allows you to turn it...

Video How to Get a Skell in Xenoblade Chronicles X, Including Locations of Rare Items
Alex shows the way
We love Xenoblade Chronicles X, yet we're aware that it has a few negatives. The text and user interface could be better, and there are some difficulty spikes and awkward collectathons. The latter is particularly prominent when trying to secure your Skell licence, which you predictably need to get your own cool mech. For those of...

Can't wait for this! Looks like a killer RPG for the Wii U.
I just pray it's a direct sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles. With co-op multiplayer.
Am I the only one in here who realizes this game is online (and thus has co-op multiplayer) from the trailer or can't anybody else neither read "Player 1", "Player 2", "Player 3" nor a few hiraganas of discussion??????
I though this was just called "X" ?
I can't wait. I haven't been able to sink much time into Xenoblade, but its still amazing.
Lol, why is this tagged as "Dinosaurs?"
I guess I'd have to have played Xenoblade to get what everyone's so excited about. Or maybe have seen the other trailer. The E3 one was mostly just...walking. And flying around in a robot...very serenely. I dunno, I guess I'd be more interested if I saw something explode...
Looks in-bloody-credible.
Nintendo and Monolith Soft have really out-done themselves this time.
I really hope it does well commercially.
This game looks awesome. The gameplay, graphics, artwork, music, and possibly the story all seem very great. It is one of the few RPGs I have ever been interested in. HYPE!!!
@DePapier
I also noticed the online comment box in the trailer I can't wait Itlooks amazing, I love online open plan games like MH3. I hope you are able to get to play against/ with 7 people at a time double the amount of MH3. I really hope they advertise this game well.
I liked Xenoblade Chronicles so I have some hope for this one too. Can't wait to find out more about it. Exploration + Mecha = Awesome.
I hope they announce a release date at E3 2014. The Wii U needs more games like this.
This REALLY reminds me (visually) of the Xenosaga trilogy, which is a good thing!
I can't believe there is going to be over 300 hours of gameplay!!!
Hurry up and release!
Going to set aside a few days when this comes out. Looks incredible.
I was initially disappointed there wasn't anything really exciting for me at E3 but then I saw tree house gameplay for this. So excited they nailed down the release date.
This is going to be so tham good. The previous game for the Wii (same as 3ds) truly kicks as! And this just looks so epic in every single way.

I also CANT WAIT for it - the battle for "game of the year" is extremely tough this year - but Im sure its the best the WiiU has to offer - not just this year Im asured, the predecessor is one of the best JRPGs Ive ever played (and I have played A LOT of JRPGs)
At first I wasn't interested games, but after watching a lot of the trailers, I suddenly had an urge to buy the game
HEYYYyyyOh look out down below!
Here he comes,BANANA SLAMMA!
DonkeyKong;kongo-bongo's hero!
I've noticed that when playing the game you have to DOUBLE click the L and R shoulder buttons to lock onto target and reset the camera view - single press doesn't work as outlined in digital manual.
You just have to get this game!
I liked xenoblade chronicles on the 3ds, but I'm enjoying this games world and combat more. Either way both games are absolute musts!
@Benjelo Me too man, It really epic and will suck up hours upon hours of your life if your down for getting caught in a lore rich world
I saw a trailer for this on TV and thought is was like a mix between Mad Max and Call of Duty!
I truly think this game is a work of art! and labor!
Best game on the Wii u. Best game I have played in a long time. Great open world.
