Topic: System Transfer To The New OLED Switch

The NL guide worked a charm for me. I transfered my user info and save data at the same time, transfered my ACNH island over, popped in the memory card, and currently redownloading all my games from the eshop now.

I even have all my game time still saved in my profile, I thought that might be locked to the Switch itself but it all came over with my user info.

The only "problem" is I had my pictures and captured footage on my Switch memory, not the memory card, so it is still on there. I can transfer it over later though.

The whole process is a bit of a nightmare, as when you have both consoles with the game, and with the island transfer tool, the problems start, I was logged into my user on both machines and it would not open the tool on both, as they kept conflicting with each other.

Ended up opening one island tool using my little girls profile on the transfer console, and my profile on the source, worked fine.

I had all my captures on the SD card, and they were still there when I set up the card on the new Switch, and all my save data is on the machines internal memory.

I am also having trouble with the transfer. Along with not being able to move all of the save data at once, but also any users on my Switch that don’t have their own online account. My daughter is 7 years old, she does not have her own Nintendo account.

So, I have pick the OLED as my primary, as this will be my travelling console (so that internet is not required to open a game), but then in my Secondry Switch (at home), my Daughter cannot access play any games with here user. The system says she must buy the game. She can play a game as my user, but she would not be able to user her save files.

Not sure if I can fix this, or if this just poor restrictions.
Is anyone here having a similar problem?
