I assume it to be nothing more than speculation until an official announcement.

I'd absolutely repurchase this game on Switch. The segmented nature of these games work well with portable systems.

Although, if it does, it'll be funny that of the two main games I purchased my PS4 to play (Silent Hills and Persona 5), one was canceled and the other got ported to a rival system.

Although, as it stands, I'm not expecting it to come to Switch. Atlus is very weird about keeping certain series exclusive to particular ecosystems.

Just started playing Persona 3 Portable for the first time a few weeks ago. Still a fabulous game, and has completely whetted my appetite for Persona 5 on Switch. If it happens, 2019 would be the best year yet for Switch releases - certainly for RPG fans, at least. Let's face it - it already is.

SXSW is around the corner. maybe will hear it there by then?

i'm gonna wait for official news before believing this of being true or false.

March is when the next official Persona 5 news is according to the January teaser trailer so if it's coming to Switch it'll probably appear then or in a April Direct along with Joker Smash info like stage, music, moveset, etc.

Obviously it's not confirmed yet so I'm not going to get too excited, but given this guy's track record with Persona leaks and Nintendo's own hinting, I think it's all but confirmed at this point. The thought of having Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Xenoblade, Pokemon, Tales, Ys, and now Persona all represented on a single Nintendo console is just amazing.
