A failing xbox1 will still not save the wii u after the cable box1 reveal wii u sales went up over 875% on amazon but only for a day or two they got rid of a few hundred consoles but its back to normal wii u is nowere near out of the woods [if it ever will be] soft has until e3 to change the opinion of the hardcore gamers they have slieighted ps4 seems to be the onlyone doing it right at this point those directs have to be game changing

Still no games lets just rely on nostalgia

Your half right the gpu is is a bit more powerfull if you no about pc's [im not sure u do] its in the 4ooo series range nothing special but it is much better than the xenos in the xbox 360 nintendo intended for devs to get used to the gpgpu and let its weak cpu just help with the little things but games like battlefield and the frosbite engine are cpu intensive and most console devs are not used to this yet and the cell mobile games are not useing the full frosbite engine is stripped down

@Noend Wii u is not getting yet another game if you really game it should be noteworthy to you

@BestBuck123 GC only sold around 20 mil so most people didnt have your thought process and the next gen consoles have very different arc wii u is still using power pc nintendo has been doing that since the game cube over a decade ago

All soft has to do is show awsome games at e3 and throw money around at studios and advertising xbox1 wont drown

@QuickSilver88 Amd said ps4 is using there most advanced apu it is a big leap if you look at the specs of the system current gen consoles have trouble running 720p at 30 fps thats terrible and can only do 1080p with simple games on psn or xbl arcade

I love my 3ds too but its kind of sad that nintendo's handheld is more relivent than there home console

EA's frosbite engine is extreamly cpu intensive and the wii u cpu is well

@MeWario Yep without those casuals who went to tablets after they got bored of the original wii they need to get more of the hardcore crowd but hardcore gamers have standards they want all the cool new third party games and sadly nintendo is not getting it done

Cant wait to see more of there next gen tech and that engine for ps4

Ea is like one of the biggest publisher's in the country and the need for speed game they just released on wii u barley broke 20k they have more games on wii u than nintendo does what exactly is ea jealus of nintendo about every third party game that does get released on wii u does very bad sad to say the wii u for third party devs is not profitable and doesent make any sense at this point not only do sales have to increase but the people who own wii u's have to actually BUY games and not just talk about them on NL

They know it wont sell the biggest franchise in gaming [cod] coulden't do anything on wii u if wii u owners don't give devs a reason to put games on there platform i dont even expect devs to even give wii u cheap ports after next gen jumps off this holiday

Nintendo cant catch a break longer than 30 sec with all the flaming that the xbox1 got at the end of the day it seems the wii u will always get overlooked first party titles are great but they take time to make so if you only go wii u your just going to be waiting

Not all AAA games have mega budgets look at how cheap metro last light and heavy rain but from whats in the wii u it is slightly more powerfull than an xbox 360 and there is alot of room for improvement in visuals people who say we have reached the limits clearly have not played on pc

Im not debating current pc standards for ram and system memory sony is putting in better ram than soft get over it we have to wait to hear about the other details but this is a huge advantage already

EA jumps were the money is at wii u needs a price drop and fast coming out of these nintendo directs i hope a new metroid game is revealed

I feel bad for the devs who worked so hard on wii tv only to have it oblitorated by the cable box's controller free konnect

The wii lost its relivence to most people who bought it [aside from hardcore fans]in 2010 konnect was like early 2012 because it was different than the wand type controllers i dont know how that thing sold at all it still doesent have any good games for konnect

@MadAdam81 U cant deconstruct the fact that the wii was helped big time by casuals doesent mean the wii was a bad console but its appeal was not for real hardcore games but for raving rabbids and wii sports

A fad is a fad the casuals and non gamers made it a succes that's a fact now that they are on smartphones nintendo has to go back to the basics i dont expext it to even come close to original wii sales

@Pierceton IT did sell well but it was a fad everyone who bought one played it for 2 weeks and put it in the closet hardcore nintendo fans did not make it a succes non gamers and casuals did the game cube was the hardcore fans at full capacity and it was around 20 mil all said and done they hoped the casuals would return for wii u and they didnt

Steam box doesent make sense to me one model for 600$ and another for 1000$ just build a pc yourself you just need an iq over 85 lol

@DaveC It would make sense every xbox one will be packaged with a konnect2 so not all there r&d money went into there box y would anyone debate that lol thats what happened with wii u and the tablet looks like the soft boys are now damage controlling for xbox

I dont know if i will buy this thing at launch i will keep an open mind all soft has to do is drop another fps and there fans will fall in line

The ps4 looks like it will have a stronger gpu and xbox will have a slighty better cpu with a faster clock it is useing 3 os

If soft delivers at e3 that will respark interest and soft is throwing money at devs so i doubt it will flop

I tryed to think positive about the thing but it was terrible everyone that was cheering during the press conference were in the back with the rest of the microsoft employees smh at e3 they have to work twice as hard now

For xbox1 y use ddr3 ram thats 3times slower than whats in ps4 and it has a ram hungry os 3 actually but we wont have to wait for the games to look better than the old ones on either system thankfully

LDXD There are alittle different sony and soft are going to blow the doors off at e3 and the microsoft want to deliver on that old promise back with the original xbox to take over the living room can they do it from what i saw it is a definite possibility if they can deliver the games most consumers are not interested in the wii u its going to be like mission impossible to save this thing can nintendo rise to the challenge ?

LDXD Can we be friends and stop this bikering i like nintendo but i feel there handheld is more relivent than there home console i feel the wii u came out at the wrong time i feel nintendo wanted lightning to strike twice [it didnt] i feel nintendo doesnt really care about the wii u i feel nintendo has lost its drive and hunger to be number one not base its succes on gimmicks but based on the best third party support[nintendo and super nintendo] and there first party titles.
