When Gaijin Games released its first BIT.TRIP title BIT.TRIP BEAT back in 2009, the game took many players by surprise not only with its unique musical and visual presentation, but also with its extremely addictive gameplay. And as beloved as BEAT would become, the series would only get more interesting as each new release took...
Not just Capcom
While Capcom continues to take flak for the Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D save file debate, it's worth pointing out that it's far from the first publisher to use non-deletable save data on 3DS. As owners of Super Monkey Ball 3D, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2 will at
Two games, one TRIP to the store
BIT.TRIP COMPLETE is coming on 13th September, but it won't be alone on North American retailer shelves as BIT.TRIP SAGA is landing on the same day. The 3D revamps of the WiiWare originals might lack the extra content of its COMPLETE cousin on Wii, but what it lacks in bonuses it makes up for in portability. And 3D. We got chance to try out the game at E3, so be..

BIT.TRIP goes 3D!
To say that the BIT.TRIP series has been a highlight of the WiiWare service would be a gross understatement. Their simplistic design and wildly playable nature have made for some of the most engaging gaming experiences on the service and continue to be among the most popular titles in the catalog. Now, the folks at Gaijin Games are...

It's a watch!
Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors is a graphic adventure developed by Chunsoft, described by publisher Aksys as: A game that simulates life, or at least it would if your life was about being trapped on a sinking ship and forced to complete a series of incomprehensible puzzles before your practically inevitable death. As if that weren't enough to brighten your Monday, sticking your..
Japanese adventure heading Westward, ho!
These are good times to be a DS-owning fan of rich adventures, with RPGs falling into your lap every five minutes. What about a less battle-oriented title, though? Aksys may have just the thing, as it's announced it will be translating Chunsoft's adventure title 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. A combination of text adventure, puzzle and room escape, 999..
Quirky brawler now known as BlayzBloo: Super Melee Brawlers Battle Royale
We reported in December that the hardcore BlazBlue series was soon to make its debut on Nintendo's DSiWare service in the form of a cute, big-headed battle game with full free roaming for 500 Nintendo Points. Known as BlazBlue Battle X Battle in Japan, the ESRB has outed its Western release, known now as BlayzBloo: Super..

Downloading this week’s WiiWare release might cause some of you to make confused grunting sounds and paw angrily at your Wii Remote, because the retro visuals and 8-bit music of Bit.Trip Beat might suggest to some that they’ve accidently downloaded a Virtual Console release.
However, you should turn that frown upside down because Aksys Games’ latest WiiWare title is a love-letter to the days..
It's another catch-up week for Europe, with one game the US has had forever and a game they got about two months ago.
Family Table Tennis came out two weeks after WiiWare's launch in the US, so they've almost had it for an entire year! It's the true first game in the "Family" series, but like the rest it's not really spectacular in any way...
Are you ready to get your funk on? You'd better be, because Aksys Game's Bit.Trip.Beat is coming to the North American WiiWare service on Monday, March 16th.
Much like Pong, you still move your paddle around by tilting the Wii Remote, but in this unique WiiWare title you'll have to bounce the blocks off your paddle in rhythm with the pumping musical beats the game makes use of. The sound of the..
Arc System Works is bringing out what appears to be the sole new WiiWare release on the Japanese service next Tuesday, a game centred around golf putting called Okiraku Pata-Gorufu (Family Golf Putter). You're able to choose from four characters (a cute anime family rendered in cel-animation style) and try to putt your ball into a series of holes doing various trick shots. Wiimote control only with use of a simple arm swing after setting shot power to get the ball rolling appears to be the interface. The game will be 500 points, we expect Aksys Games will publish this in North America and Europe sometime later this year.
Avast ya li'ly libbered land lubbers! Aksys Games have put out a press release to let us know that Daddy, Mommy, Sarah and Billy are bored of playing Table Tennis even more bored of air hockey!.
Batten down the hatches and prepare to embark on a nautical themed adventure – ya’argh! Clearly we haven’t been too impressed with the ‘Family’ series from Aksys so far, but who knows, it could..
The ESRB has updated with a whopping four new WiiWare ratings! Three of these games have already been released in Japan, but have now gotten their first sign of a release elsewhere. The other's quite a surprise!
Crystal Defenders R1 and Crystal Defenders R2 are the first two parts of Square's Crystal Defenders. As you might remember, the game was...
Bit.Trip Beat looks set to be one of the most original and fun games of 2009 on WiiWare. It’s a clever blend of Atari 2600 visuals, Pong gameplay and a slamming chiptune soundtrack.
Intrigued by this mysterious looking game we contacted the developers Gaijin Games to find out more. Thankfully the head honcho, Alex Neuse agreed to spill the beans on their upcoming game so you lucky readers can be..
The news wire has spoken and it has been revealed that lucky European WiiWare fans have two new releases to sink their teeth into this week, so let's have a look at what's afoot, shall we?
Puzzle game Pop Them, Drop Them SAMEGAME unquestionably wins the award for stupidest moniker of the month, but the jury is still out on whether or not this is worth a look. It’s from Hudson and only costs 500..
Racing fans had better get ready to burn some rubber because the first of this week’s WiiWare release is High Voltage’s Hot Rod Show.

It was only a few days ago that we posted the sneak peek from this month’s Nintendo Power which revealed the first of Aksys Games’ retro styled series of games, Bit.Trip Beat which is coming to WiiWare.

What do you get when you cross the arcade classic Pong with a music/rhythm game? The end result would probably be close to Aksys Game's new WiiWare title Bit.Trip: Beat.
Much like Pong, you still move your paddle around by tilting the Wii Remote, but in this unique WiiWare title you'll have to bounce the blocks off your paddle in rhythm with the pumping musical beats the game makes use of. The..
