Nintendo has finally locked in a release date for the new Splatoon 3 amiibo. They'll be rolling out on November 11th.
This next batch of amiibo includes Octoling (blue), Inkling (yellow) and Smallfry. Nintendo has also released a new trailer showing off exactly what you'll get from each of these amiibo. Take a look in the trailer:
This news follows the release of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Steve and Alex Minecraft amiibo recently. Last week, some other Smash Bros. amiibo were also seemingly spotted in the wild.

Since I've collected every single Splatoon amiibo over the years, including variants and the Inkling Smash Bros. one, I’d have to get these just because. The new gear looks fine but a far cry from what the Octolings give. Smallfry’s gifts seem like a throwback to Splatoon 2’s Team Chaos. Strange how they were originally planned to be in a three pack but are now sold individually. I would’ve rather had just gotten a pack but maybe they’ll be easier to find by themselves?

@WoomyNNYes It wouldn't shock me if that came with the inevitable big man amiibo, since not only does he give you that, but he is also the only one of the trio that isn't really wearing clothes lol.
Splatoon has some of the best character designs in recent years. These look amazing!

These look really good though. My initial reaction was disappointment (mainly because I had seen a datamine of Captain 3's outfit as gear and I thought that's what we'd be getting) but the more I watch the trailer, the more I start to really like the new pieces we're getting. Between my new aesthetic, the Karate Kid and Mad Max, they all look really diverse and interesting. Hopefully I'll be able to grab these because god they're cool.
Great looking figures which I'll get, but I remember thinking all the way back in 2014 when Smash Bros. was doing interesting things with amiibo that we'd get all sorts of cool integrations. Instead, it's been classic Nintendo, cool idea, under-baked execution.
The outfits are super nice this time round.
But I've already dumped all my resources into my existing amiibo gear to give it the abilities I wanted, so I doubt I'd use them.
Still buying the amiibo, of course.
