In the biggest non-surprise in the history of E3, Ubisoft has announced Just Dance 2022, and it'll be coming to Switch (and all other platforms under the sun) on 4th November.
As you can see in the trailer above which was unveiled in today's Ubisoft Forward presentation, Todrick Hall will be contributing to this latest edition in the long-running party dance game series.
The game will include 40 hits to dance along to, including the following:
• “Believer” by Imagine Dragons
• “Level Up” by Ciara
• “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels” by Todrick Hall
• “China” by Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Karol G Ft.
Ozuna, J Balvin
• “Run The World (Girls)” by Beyoncé
• “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” by Katy Perry
• “Funk” by Meghan Trainor
According to Ubisoft's PR, there will also be 8 "kid-friendly" songs and choreographies. Fun for the whole family, indeed.
This one apparently won't be coming to Wii, though. Well, Nintendo's original waggle-friendly console had a bloody good run of them, right?
Let us know if you'll be adding 2022 to your Just Dance collection below.

Well if it's not for the Wii, I'm not buying it.
Rather have this than all those triple AAA titles.
I just want them to do another Wii U version, is that too much to ask?
I was only planning on buying this for Wii so hard pass
@johnvboy
For me, rather playing DDR / We Cheer 2 Wii / Boogie Wii than playing Just Dance. 😉
Todrick Hall had to have re-written that ENTIRE song though to keep the rating from changing. Song did nothing for me though. But good on him for getting the contract.
I legit predicted only 2 games for switch and there were only 2 Ubisoft games for switch. Amazing.
But tbh, only the Mario and Rabbids sequel is the only one I cared. So I am not very upset on this presentation
Last year's Just Dance also skipped the Wii.
Nails, Hair, Hip, Heels by Todrick Hall
Believer by Imagine Dragons
Level Up by Ciara
Last Friday Night by Katy Perry
Funk by Meghan Trainor
Run The World by Beyonce
China by Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Karol G, Ozuna, & J Balvin
Oh god no! How many times do they to release this?
i suprised Just Dance is skipping Wii, considering, Just Dance 2019 released on Wii.
@Lord it’s a yearly dose of dance!
i bought JD20 last month after 15 years. well....it's funny and it helps you to sweat a lot. and with the pass, i have more than 600 song for 20€ for year
@mantarobuster300 i bought just dance 2020 last month for 10€ and with 20€ more i have 600 and plus songs
@mantarobuster300 - If it's too expensive and you enjoy the games, why not find a used copy on eBay etc?
@mantarobuster300 I can't speak for digital versions. But I can speak from experience that it's almost impossible (at least shortly after release and around the holidays) to not find the physical versions of the game on sale. We buy the game every year for the kids and have never paid more than $40.
I am not into this game but I am happy for the fans of this game. I would also like to say I do not understand why the video game media is trashing the Ubisoft direct. I thought it was pretty good. Avirar looked great and that skateboard republic game looked fun. and I HATE rainbow six games. but rainbow six extraction actually looked really good to me. it was fresh and Had a RE vibe going for it. I would give the Ubisoft direct a 7 out of 10. and the big dog Mario Rabbids was great. so I do not see why do many video game critics were hating on it so much.
Can I just get an entire Just Dance of Todrick Hall? I might actually buy that one.
It's official.
R.I.P Wii
2006-2021
Just Dance 4 was the best version! Bring back the exclusive workout mode/songs!
@octokid was 2020 the last one? I think even the Wii got one or two after the WiiU didn’t.
@rockodoodle I dunno anymore...
@UmbreonsPapa Yeah, these things are always marked down. Every other year I buy a copy for my sister to play and even a month after launch you can snag a copy for either $40 or $30.
im amazed ubisoft hasnt made this into an open world grind fest yet.
