The Pokémon Company International has today released further details for the upcoming 2020 Pokémon World Championships, confirming that it'll all be kicking off this August in London, UK.
The event will be held at ExCeL London (full address below, satnav fans) and will take place between August 14th and 16th. As always, the very best trainers from all over the world will travel to compete, with separate passes being available for fans and spectators who just want to soak up the atmosphere.

It has also been reconfirmed that the 2020 Pokémon World Championships will be home to a Pokémon Center store, where fans will be able to purchase "a wide variety of products including a range of items themed around the tournament". Hopefully the demand won't be quite as high as London's recent Pokémon pop-up store.
The Pokémon Company has also shared a suggested list of hotels and accommodation should you want to plan your trip ahead of time which can be found right here. We'd also encourage you to visit the Play! Pokémon website if you're keen on competing but are new to the game.
Will you be heading to the event to see what all the fuss is about? Perhaps you're hoping to compete? Let us know in the comments.

Deodorant is a thing, fellow nerds.
I've always wanted to go to one of these. It's just so hard to travel around to physical tournaments enough to come close to qualifying.
But even as a spectator, usually it means flying cross country or even overseas.
Thing is, if I were to spend the money on such a huge trip, I wouldn't want to be just a spectator... I don't care if I get shredded over and over, I'd want to at least try.
