Gamelion's Extreme Hangman was an extreme hit on DSiWare, quickly becoming one of the biggest-selling paid titles on the service, so it makes sense the developers want to expand on this success with more simple games. The next title lined up is Academy: Tic-Tac-Toe, and you'll never guess what it includes.
Yes, it's noughts and crosses (as it's known in Britain) with the promise of tough artificial intelligence, expanded board options and a league system that tasks you with becoming a tic-tac-toe superstar, if such a thing exists.
Here's Gamelion's official description of the game to get you geared up:
If a single 3x3 playing field makes you claustrophobic, you'll be happy to try the new Nine Board game mode that adds a nice twist and more strategic depth to the game. Prove that you're a worthy Tic-Tac-Toe player by entering the Tic-Tac-Toe League and advancing from the initial School Club League, through Academic, City, National, and World Leagues up to the Super Stars League! Claim the top spot and become the Tic-Tac-Toe Champ!

Aren't there only like 4 different strategies you can do on the 3x3 board, and they all have a way to be stopped? Not a good game to choose.
Seriously? Not that this looks bad, but... Seriously?
Lol, like the approach.
Personally, I'd prefer it if Gamelion gave us some more info on Furry Legends: Beginnings than some tic-tac-no game.
Noughts and Crosses, eh?
Hangman is being attacked by the evil forces of tic-tac-toe!
I'm going to Gamelion to aid him!
@6: It is writen, only pen and paper can defeat tic-tac-toe!
My friends and I play "Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe" (as we like to call it), where we have a normal 3x3. But inside each of the 9 cells, we draw another 3x3, and so on! It was really fun when we hadded more rows, columns, and players, but of course our stupid teacher made us throw it away. Fortunately, one of my friends recovered it as he was walking out the dorr, and we finished it at lunch.
