@Dezzy Timing was probably different back in July, look how the Series X/S enhancements for Ori and the Will of the Wisps was planned for 2021 for example. Seems pretty obvious that back in July, Microsoft had all their eggs in the Halo Infinite basket and when that was delayed the timing of upgrades/DLC for already existing games at the Series X/S launch window became a lot more important.
I'd imagine even Gears Tactics wasn't originally a Series X/S launch title but delayed to then because Halo Infinite was delayed.
I spend every morning checking AmazonNA for XSX availability. "Currently unavailable" It makes me a little sad. But at the same time I'm surprised how eager I am to jump back into the MS ecosystem. Although I have no intention of signing up for Game Pass, my backlog is bad enough as is.

I finally took the plunge and got Xbox Gamepass for PC. Right now I'm downloading No Man's Sky and Fallout 76 and I plan on downloading Halo MCC and Final Fantasy XV later. The Xbox launcher isn't really as bad as I hear most people talk about.
They have been working on that quite a bit recently, @Lindhardt .... So, it is a LOT better now than even 6 months ago! Just so you know people weren't making it up before.

Yeah that might be it. I think there's also the unfortunate fact that Gears just isn't as highly regarded today as it was during the original trilogy. The first game was almost the pioneer of the third person cover shooter genre. Whereas at this point in time, it feels incredibly generic and safe as a series. Not that I don't like it, because I do quite a lot. But it's really not innovative at this point in time.
I will say if MS makes the fridge a consumer product, I am buying one. It will go in storage till i get a house but that is too nerdy to pass up.

If Halo Infinite somehow isn't aggressively mediocre like Halo 5 was from what I heard I will be shocked. Doesn't this count for like 4th or 5th time someone involved with the project left it?
@Dezzy I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they internally reshuffled people as a result of the mixed reception at the game's current state due to that demo. According to Jason Scherier they've already brought back Joe Staten to lead development on the game's single player campaign

I want to ask about softmodding Xbox Classic (OG XBOX) to bypass Region Lock and getting the DLC songs for Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 1 - 4.
DDR Ultramix 1 - 4 are the only Xbox Classic games i have interest about but unfortunately the DLC songs from Xbox Live have been terminated long time ago so the only way to get all DLC songs for DDR Ultramix series by modding the machine and copy the DLC files from internet.
I know i don't play with modded machine anymore but for Xbox Classic case, maybe i have no choice but have to mod the machine to bypass the region lock and get all DLC contents.
But still i want to play with the original games in disc, so how to softmod the Xbox Classic properly and still able to play with Original disc ?
@NEStalgia I’m hoping the mini fridge idea becomes a thing. My parents would kill me if I had someone drop that massive box at their place.
