Lycanroc Dusk may be exclusive to the special giveaway Rockruff. CoroCoro has it listed as a special Rockruff that can evolve into Lycanroc Dusk.

@Octane That doesnt mean only that Rockruff, just that that Rockruff can evolve. The Rockruff may be special for kther reasons

Also I love the Pokemon community and their obsession for using the French noun-adjective structure instead of the English adjective-noun.

Allow me to break down the wording.

The Rockruff is special. That Rockruff can also evolve into Dusk. That does NOT mean it is thr only one to do so.

Ah well. Doesnt exactly bother me. Snorlaxium Z was event only. Blazikenite was event only. Beldum with unique moves was event only. This is the exxlusive for this game.

I just see it as another Ash Greninja. And I expect this to become common from now on.

Is there any reason to believe that breeding the Rockruff wouldn't allow for more dusk forms? I wouldn't be surprised if that failed, but it could be a possibility.

Actually to be fair...in Sun and Moon Rockruff evolves into Midday from 6am to 6pm. Midnight from 6pm to 6am.

So....where would this fit in Dusk? They've changed evolutions before but...I dunno.

@BLP_Software They could have used the dusk stone to evolve Lycanroc into Dusk Form regardless of the hour.

Anyway, it looks like this is more of an Ash-Greninja thing than an actual new form. It's event exclusive too, so no breeding, no egg moves, and probably banned from tournaments as well. RIP Dusk Form 2017-2017.

Pokemon needs better gimmicks. Make a new game for once and not just the same tired stuff. My interest is at zero for mainline Pokemon games right now.
