Baby Characters to me feel like fillers to me, just to take up spaces. Ergh.
Magikoopa is a good choice for a character, period. As for MK, I loved MKDS most of any MK. It had some bad***, creative tracks and a good online. Though I'm one of the few people who disliked Snaking, I thought it was an exploit, and just a cheep way to win a race. I can't wait to get a 3DS, I'm definitely preordering this.

When I tried playing Mario Kart DS online everyone either hacked or just quit after a race or two.
And I hated not being able to hold my items behind me.
Mario Kart Wii has a much better online system, although there are a lot of hackers these days.

There was a retro track discussion going on when I viewed this topic last.... don't know what page it was on! but I really think Royal Raceway was almost made for the glider as well as Mario Circuit 2..........

and apparently the latter IS happening

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions

I liked Royal Raceway so I hope they do decide to put that in the game.

Forgot about that. But for me Online was fine, I ran into a few hackers. It was nothing compared to Metroid Prime Hunters...
That, was a sin.

The less of these in the game the better.
Potentially breaking a controller is one thing, but I don't want to put my 3DS at risk.

BECAUSE THEY TAKE UP SPACES THAT OTHER NEW CHARACTERS CAN FILL.
Everyone acts as if they don't know that.

I only loved them in Double Dash...Luigi and Mario are okay, but I think they're going a bit far with Peach and Daisy....I bet they'll do Baby Bowser next. xD

I thought you COULD hold items behind you. I always did it in that game.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

In MKDS you could not drag items behind you in online play. It was disappointing for those used to being in first place, but allowances must be made for Nintendo's first online game. You could drag items in offline play as normal.

Come on, friends,

Oh okay. I never played online so I wouldn't know.

Online though?
I know you can hold items behind you in the offline game or local multiplayer but when I've tried playing online multiplayer it hasn't let me hold items behind me.
