@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Well, many countries tend to do that, but not every single one. Some countries can be really proud of their history. I get the point about brushing under a rug though. And since I like my coffee dark (I like dark tv shows), you just advertised one to me. Things that are dark and weird are so mesmerizing in its own right, like Fantastic Planet (1973), Serial Experiments Lain (2002), or Jacob's Ladder (forgot the year).
@ChaoticKirby a kilogram of steel feathers, of course. Or, as someone wise once said, "a kilogram of steel is just steel, a kilogram of feathers also carry the weight of what you did to those chickens".
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Yeah. Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but the U.S. government really likes to hide dark events, and just glorify the past in a better light. Other people just like tilting or “changing” the past to fit their narrative instead. I personally believe that history should be told in a non-partisan way that everyone will understand, even if it is ugly and gory. Messing with history books does not change the past, and hiding it will only make it worse.
Sorry if this was a bit political. I hate politics and try to stay as non-partisan as possible.
How is everyone doing? Late reply here, I just happened to be kind of busy lately. I'm still doing pretty good, and played some Mario Kart yesterday night. (Goodness... I can't stop playing it.) Hope you're all doing well.
@Tyranexx Oh gosh, every song in that movie is great! The opening town song is simply called Belle, and it's such a perfect song to start the movie off with. Something There is a really nice song too, even if it is kind of a short one.
That's cool, so you've finished the game, huh? Yeah there's a ton of Metroidvanias out there, one of the ones I have is Hollow Knight. Love the game, but it got tough at some point so I haven't finished it. I also have the Castlevania Advance Collection, that's another game I wanna play more of at some point. I think I got stuck at one of the earlier bosses in Circle of the Moon? I'll have to come back to it and find out.
Nice, I won't blame you for using save states since that game gets tough quite a few times. Especially on the final boss. Many of the Mega Man platformers are quite challenging indeed, I think they have a learning curve when it's your first time playing them.
I actually have Dragon Quest VII for my 3DS (and XI for my Switch), that's been on my backlog as well. It's a pretty long game, huh? I've been thinking of getting into the Dragon Quest series at some point, though I think I'd have to be in an RPG mood and invest a ton of collective time into all the games, lol. I heard VIII is really good, I've seen many folks say it's the best DQ game.
@ComfyAko Yeah many of the classic Disney movies are great. I actually saw Sleeping Beauty for the first time last year and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Ah yeah, I remember those direct-to-video sequels that Disney would churn out back in the day... we didn't have most of them and just stuck with the originals.
@Sunsy Oh that's cool. So they let you remap the left and right control sticks? That might throw me off when I'm done playing, lol.
Nice. I don't remember when I got Yoshi's Story back then, but I did play it a ton when I was much younger.
I still remember Missingno like it was yesterday, lol. It's one of the most famous glitches in all of gaming, after all, right next to the likes of the Minus World. I've pulled off the Minus World glitch a couple times before in the original Super Mario Bros.
Ah really? I didn't know about that April Fool's joke with Nintendo having a Luigi Pokemon. Was it an old joke from back in the day?
Gotcha on the blue tokens and daily goals. Thanks!

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
