@Agramonte Your point is only valid if Fully Illistrated's goal in presenting the graphic was to provide insight into total sales/success of their game; We have no specific reason to believe that is the case.
If their goal was to indicate the relative trends per platform, than the graphic meets its objective quite nicely.
