I just went on a Sega shopping spree today. 2 genesis games and 2 DC games. In the DC category, I bought E.G.G. and Pen Pen Triicelon. EGG works fine, but no matter what, Pen Pen WON'T LOAD. The Dreamcast was a great system, but it and its games were too often faulty...
Pen Pen Triicelon! One of my favorite games of all time. It's a really different racing game and oh so fun. That giant pink hippo was freaky, though...
And Tina looks like Jynx and this girl who was in my 2nd grade class lolol
I still play my Dreamcast occasionally. A few games are still online and the web browser still works, so you can download any add-on content you want. There are fansites that host all the downloadable content. ( You'll need either dialup or the expensive broadband adapter, though.)
Quake 3 still works online due to it being compatible with the PC version, but the DC-compatible servers aren't very active. I played online a few months ago but had no luck finding players.
It's amazing how expandable that system is, and for it to still have fan-site dedicated and stuff is amazing.
Reminds me of when SEGA games were great fun, quirky, and filled with personality. :/
I know what you mean. Dreamcast games all had their own unique 'atmosphere'. Still have my Dreamcast with tons of games. Shenmue 1 and 2 remain my absolute favorites.
I wonder if Sonic Colors is worth the effort, because i've read mostly very positive reviews of that game.
