I bought Medal Of Honor as well. On the second level now and there are a lot of frame rate issues i've noticed. Lot's of hiccuping when lots going on. Other than that, it's a FPS.

Fighting Force is only 2.99 now. If there were only online multiplayer lol. Loved playing that with friends back in the day.

@strofan ....IGN gave it a 6 which isnt too good, i played the multiplayer on the bet and it was fun, but not quite good enough to warrant $60. Also thanks for the heads up on the toys r us sale...does that mean we can buy 2 videogame shirts and get a game free.....cause thats awesome. and when you get tired of Medal of Honor, pick up MAG so you me and slap can play it since i got it

@Smith... sweet you got a headset! Need that for MAG, I was hoping you were going to get on last night, me and my bro played for a couple of hours yesterday and then I was on until like 2am this morning.

@sean007 I have the 40 gig model ps3, it only has two usb ports. But a year after i bought it, got a 500 gig laptop harddrive and put it in my ps3. I am currently using about 134 gigs ,i have a decent amount of stuff on it. The ps3 slim has about 120 gigs so if i bought one, id put a Terabyte(1,000 gigs) harddrive in it. I kinda regret not buying a Terabyte hard drive lol now that's ALOT of space. I want my ps3 to be a beast!!

I don't think im gonna get MOH, the only competitive FPS im buying is Resistance 3 and only because i think it may have another co-op mode(taken from R2) . The co-op mode will be a whole separate mode and not some cruddy "campaign' mode. I can take breaks from competitive play and enjoy more team focused play, which is necessary for me to enjoy an online FPS.

@odd - i might bite on resistance 3 as well....it's really the only fps series i ever enjoyed enough to want to take online for any amount of time, and R2's online remains the best of any FPS i've played...ever. Seriously. The cooperative online, esp. allowing for split-screen people, is just plain awesomeness. Not to mention it's a kick-ass setting with great weaponry on both sides.

I've never really been into competitive online FPS play since it tends to attract dicks and everyone takes them too seriously. I never feel like there's a way to learn--I just launch into my teammates immediately criticizing everything I do cause I haven't memorized every map yet. Every game of MW2 I ever played was just such a frustrating, homogeneous experience. Can't see how people can get any joy out of them once they've played every map a few times, personally, but to each his own.

Killzone 2 was kinda cool...just didn't pull me in the same way R2 did.

@Swerd: You just listed everything I don't like about online multiplayer. The trick I found with Uncharted is never, EVER play alone. Always use the buddy system, preferably with a buddy who's better than you are. I learned a lot using that system and can now hold my own alongside him, even outperforming him sometimes.

There are still some jerks who won't shut up, sure, but not near as many as most shooters have a reputation for. A lot of people on Uncharted don't bother with headsets at all. Good if it's the enemy being a jerk, bad for teamwork.

@stuff - truth be told, i actually enjoyed U2's multi quite a bit...sadly that was a borrowed game and needed to be back to the lender in a timely fashion so i didn't get to spend much time with it....but yeah, one of the few multi concepts that's actually clicked with me. Also didn't hurt that U2 is a combination of amazing systems that would be a joy to play on a minutely basis for the rest of my life

I have a feeling that'll be a game I buy just to own once it's cheap enough, even if I've exhausted the solo content for the most part. Just such a stellar experience--same with the first.

I miss Lead and Gold having games available...that game was loads of fun around when it came out! Team Fortress w/ better balance and better graphics...in third person.

AH, finally someone who shares my enthusiasm about Restsiance series. Yes Splitscreen online both competitive and co-op , now thats a concept. The campaign was actually good enough to stand on it's own for me personally.
But Insomniac hasn't released any details about R3 having a co op mode, infact all we have so far is a Movie type trailer with real actors and no gameplay.

So i downloaded Zenonia. So far its the best mini, but i have to say, this is a sloppy ass port. I get slowdown way to much, and the controls are not responsive.BUT its so addictive, I am playing it on the ps3 might i add, im sure the psp could handle running it and the problems are with the ps3, Im going to try it out later to see how much of a difference it makes

Yeah that is how it works, whatever the lowest price is what is free. But then again the last time I did that deal I could find anything I wanted free so I got like Lego Indy for Free and turned around and traded it right in at Gamestop lol.

I updated the front page here on the thread, with movemodo up and running I want to leave this thread here of course, but I also wanted to let the new guys we are getting a chance to have easy access to out IDs. @Swerd: I don't know if this counts as "cheap enough," but I'd recommend getting the Game of the Year edition that's releasing in the next few days. It comes with a download key for an absolutely RIDICULOUS amount of Uncharted-related DLC, including the map packs, every skin pack, every Uncharted Premium Avatar, and the Uncharted PSP Pinball game. It'll be $50, but it includes so much extra content that it's more worth it than buying just the game for $30.

@odd: The DSiWare port isn't all that great either, which leads me to believe that the problems in question are most likely a fault of the game itself regardless of platform.

Medal of Honor on Game Trailers got an 8.1.

So Dead Space Ignition is a Free download to anyone who preorders the game. Its a cool idea and the story of it is cool, but the minigames that push the story forward can be downright frustrating. Great idea for Free but kinda poorly executed. For anyone who wants Free trophies, just go drop a preorder in.

Finally pushed to the end of Infamous. Im no fan to sandbox games, but I enjoyed this one, though it was a struggle to finish, the end story is fantastic.

Also I grabbed Metal Gear Solid 4 on the real cheap and Im goin to give it another shot! Im down to only ONE game unfinished and that is Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Well retail releases anyways

Infamous is a fantastic game. Did you play as good or evil? Are you gonna go for the second playthrough for the trophies of Cole's alter ego?

No they didn't. They slammed the game then magically pulled an "8.1" out of thin air.

Watch the actual review. They were far too critical of the game to give it a decent score. Yet again proving that scores are worthless.

Is MM10 still on sale, or did I miss that bus?

@WaltzElf: I did watch and I agree that number seemed to be pulled out of thin air lol. The story did receive a 6. something. Then they rated the other parts of the game in the 8s. I don't know. I'm having fun with the game, so that's all that matters to me, I guess.

@zezhroom: I don't THINK it is...to check, click "Special offers" under "New Releases" on the PSN Store. If it's on sale, it'll be listed there somewhere.

While looking up a video for Call of Duty Classic, i see a comment explaining to someone how the game is old and therefore graphics are too so they shouldn't call it suckish. I thought it made sense (And i'm sure A LOT of people this so too). Well, turns out it was written by our very own Sean007s!
