Yes, Blu-Ray is a scratch-resistant format.

New cases? How are they different from the old ones? The "new" logo is nice, I suppose (new in quotations because it was rolled out half a year ago, at least in America).

My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

Holy Crap, I just finally got my wife to start up Heavy Rain and THE DEMO IS A LIE lol. It starts so much differently and good @#$$ $#@ @#$ $$ #&$#$* the game is @#$#@! INSANE!

No spoilers because I think anyone who has read anything about it, but all I need is a yes or no, if you have played it you will know the answer...... could I have saved my son? Ive replayed it in my head over and over and I guess I made the wrong choices, I was just being the way I normaly would have in real life, but If I could have it would change EVERYTHING so far..... OMG how can this game be possible, its way beyond what I thought it was..... Way!

@Slappy: Sadly, you cannot. You can't make any significant changes to the story in the prologue.

Well get a new case and old case and see why.
They are designed differently inside now and the discs are more prone to wobble around.

They are still nice lol

^Heheh, music to my ears. Gotta love it when games and stuff get you thinking like that, 'm I right?

@Mikey... Dude, there is absolutely nothing like this game. Indigo Prophecy and Dreamfall were both Excellent but this one, dude OMG! You really just have to sit down and play it to understand.

Its depressing, its beautiful in a very dark way, choices are NOT your normal Bioware/Bethesda choices we are so used to. They are split second and sometimes you may not even know you did it, (ex. let you son win in a play game of swords, by not going through with the action prompts).

There has been a LOT of critism about the controls, but after about 30 min, those little pressure sensitve prompts become your hands, literally and you will forget they are onscreen prompts at times, the pressure sensitivity of it REALLY makes a difference in the final game, unlike the demo. OMG!

I played it for 2 hours and I could go on and on. This is a must buy so far from what Ive play, and the rush Ive gotten from it surpasses Uncharted 2 in my book.

@Stuff... thanx for the reply. I kinda figured it wasnt possible sadly. Crazy thing is just how those pressure controls and insane interactivity and choices so quicly make you Emotionly grow attached to the characters. Im flat out amazed. Ive said in the forums before, that Dreamfall and Indigo Prophecy were two extremely unique games and also 2 of my all time favorites, but man this one makes them absolutely fail in comparison. I cant wait to press-on!
Oh one more thing.... Did you get a DLC Code with your copy of Heavy Rain? I have a extra one, for some reason I got two.

@Sean: Yeah, and the "American thing" is boxes that haven't been downgraded.

@Slappy: Yeah, the game's awesome. We spoke of this a few weeks ago, back when I was the one playing it.

I'm good on the code, but my brother could use one if you have nobody else you want to give it to. Just send me a PSN message.

I got the good, bad and neutral trophies in fallout 3 for level 14,and 20.
The level 8 trophies will be a bitch due to having no good armor and no ammo for my guns and i'm only on level 6..

Oh well,almost near to FFXIII.

@Stuff.... yeah man, no prob, I send it your way when I see you online today. Got 2 and didnt need but one lol.

@Sean.... I used prob around 50 save files on Fallout 3, and when I got to Levels and got my Good Karma Trophy as my character was a saint, I just saved and loaded up the save state a level or two prior and started wasting good people to neutral state and then went and killed Super Mutants in DC to stay neutral and when I needed the Bad I just wated all the townspeople. I literally wasted everyone in Rivet City, Megaton and the Ghouls Underground City lol. Worked though.

So I got all the bobble heads except one(The enclave base bobble head and since its destroyed...no luck getting it now.)
But thats alright, because,I am ready to move away from Fallout 3,so now I must go to the cidital and do the last mission.

This game is amazing tho.
It does have flaws tho such as freezing and frame rate issues but overall,I got my money's worth, big time.

Now onto some BC2 online and finally.....FFXIII.

Oh and I need to get one more trophy in Fallout 3. lol
The one where you pick pocket someone and set a grenade off at the same time. Easy!

I'm looking for a game I can play all of spring break, perferrably with trophies, and quite lengthy, here are some few that I'm interested in, gow 3, yakuza 3, heavy rain, borderlands, ffxIII, fallout 3, infamous, or resistance

Adam

Any one of those fits the bill. But if you want Resistance, just get Resistance 2. It's better in every way except for the unfortunate omission of 4P local battle.

Come on, friends,

@Strofan.... sorry had to bail out so fast. My wife is sick and needed help. Im going to try to get back on in a bit this afternoon. I dang near nuked them that last match. I was one kill from my Chopper Gunner wich secures a nuke in that map lol. Oh well.

If I get enough money, I might go with PC gaming instead of the Playstation 3 as my 2nd current gaming platform.

Sorry to say this, but if you can't save enough for a PS3, you're not going to be able to afford a PC for gaming.
@Odd69: Haven't seen you on chat when I've been on there, just wondering if you would like to partake in some SR2 tonight or tomorrow night.

yea man, I've been sucked up in Final Fantasy 13's world. I haven't been playing or much less doing anything , I just can't stop playing it LOL. I even have to force myself to go to work, which is bad.

Summary: Dudes behind FF13 would like to do a direct sequel. Aren't sure if there'll ever be a FF15. Both prospective games depends on FF13's sales, specifically in the West.

They say creating new battle systems for each game can be boring, and they'd rather make sequels that make little refinements of it, focusing more on story instead. That probably would disappoint a lot of fans who seem to get a kick out of learning and mastering the new systems each time, but I certainly prefer this kind of sequel, myself.

I don't think I'd get any kind of sequel, anyway. It's a lot of fun, but it's just much too serious for me. All of a sudden it got super difficult, too, so I don't think this'll be my first Final Fantasy I beat, after all.

I think FFXIII will sell well enough to warrant a FF15.

I wouldn't mind a direct sequel, either. I was one of the few that appreciated what FFX-2 brought to FFX, turning the overall experience into a far more interesting world.

I would prefer an entirely new game, but that preference would also require a entirely new directorial staff. If they're going to stick to the same game creators, than a sequel would do me fine.

Adam

I assume it'll sell well enough, too.

Why would FF15 require a completely new directorial staff?

@Adam: I like your new Avatar. I'd also like to add while scrolling over your Avatar it says "adam12". Didn't know if there was a reason for that, but it seems this site doesn't like the name Adam alone. First weirdadam now adam12.

edit: mine says jerichoholic_josh when i point at my avatar, so maybe you had a name change at some point in time. not important, just thought it was funny
