Topic: Why I hate EA

1) They buy smallish companies and bury their games. Case in point Thrill Kill on PS1. About 2 weeks before release EA bought the company and buried the game.
2) Sports. Remember when NFL was on Tecmo, Midway, Visual Concepts and EA.
Each trying to outdo the other? Well not any more EA just does minor updates each year. Remember MLB you had Jaleco's excellent Bases Loaded series on NES, RBI series, Visual Concepts and EA also all trying to outdo each other. Now EA only with baseball.
3) I read EA bought PopCap now it seems no more PopCap games on the 3DS.

Is that true?! (eats chocolate angrily) They bought popcap? Dang it! AHGGGGHHH!! I was hoping there'd be plants vs. zombies 3-D! WAHHHHH!

First off the NFL is the one who wants one gaming franchise as tookepp a good pillar of quality and it isn't their fault EA outbids everyone.

Second EA doesn't even make a baseball game only Sony and 2K sports does.

An XBOX Avatar, "Sony" in the username, defending EA and a 3DS friendcode in the signature...i think ill need my blood pressure pills now

Two things:

1)Thrill Kill was a terrible game that deserved being axed.

2)Popcap was acquired by EA almost two years ago. Let it go, man.

I don't think they'll leave that money making machine outside of nintendo consoles, after all, PvsZ on DSiWare is one the top selling games on the eShop.

EA hasn't made a good game(IMO) since Dead Space 1 and Mirror's Edge, so I definitely agree that they are lacking.
Hopefully they'll do better as a company this next time around.

The scary part is EA is now in control of the Star Wars games. Think the games will be good? Most likely the same game with just a few added features each year like Madden and different skin textures.

EA is not that bad. I don't get unadulterated hate or love for companies.
