@EllaTheQueen6 I've worked in a hospital for 4 years as a PCA.. but that was back when I was living rent free with an elderly lady. Now I've had my own apartment for 2 years and pay $1100 a month in rent so I can't afford anything, lol. I had to sell practically everything I owned recently, lol. For the time being I'm heavily downgrading in life. At least until my car is paid off next year.
@JustMonika I don't have a Switch, and I only have a PlayStation 2 lol. My brother doesn't have the adult DLC on Steam for Nekopara (We have Steam family sharing cause I'm too lazy to buy games), but it still has the mature tag because of the optional DLC, so I'm scared if I play it Steam'll notify my mom. Also, hospital work was the last thing I suspected. And 1100 a month????? That's insane, I hope the housing market gets better by the time I'm an adult. I wanna be a nurse or a Japanese translator when I grow up. Or even better, both. And yeah, selling everything you own just sucks. I've never had to do it cause, well, I'm not even old enough to drive, but I imagine it sucks. I hope your life improves
Also, do I just call you Monika, or do you have something you'd rather be called?
Also, here are the plushies that made me go 77 dollars into debt with my brother
My favorite character is Chocola, but I just couldn't buy Chocola without Vanilla, that's just cruel
@EllaTheQueen6 Yeah, I've worked in Healthcare for 18 years. I also have a degree in Computer Science and I'm an Army Veteran. Shaun is my name. I'd suggest buying and playing Lucy: The Eternity She Wished For on Steam. It's family friendly enough and only $10. It's currently what I'm working on. Here's a guide for it.
@JustMonika Ahhhh, an army veteran. Thank you for your service, ya weeb. You now just remind me of that one otaku from Grisaia. I wanna be a nurse when I grow up, and my best friend is going to college soon, and he wants to get a degree in computer science. And Shaun, what a nice name. My name is Ella, but you already knew that lol. And I'll check it out, sounds like a fun game. Just out of curiousity, what's working in healthcare like? I wanna go into the field, and I just wanna know what it's like.

So I just got the first ending in Chaos;Head Noah, and I plan on getting the other eight to unlock the true ending. I love the game but the plot is crazy, and I hope subsequent play throughs and endings will answer some of my questions and what not.
@EllaTheQueen6 I think you may like. Protagonist is not the most lovable guy but the supporting cast and his growth keeps you interested.
I recently also beat a Visual Novel called Scar of the Doll. It’s pretty good, but it’s pretty short. Only took me four hours to beat it but it’s worth it and the story pretty good. There is some unlockable content that opens up once you get the true ending. I played the expanded version on switch, I know the older version is on steam. Not sure if the new version is on there.
@Themagusx1 Yeah. I used to write them using Ren'Py, but I realized if I wanna get any actual work done I need to switch to C#. I plan to straight up release and sell my visual novels when I get around to, y'know, actually finishing them

@Themagusx1 Hmm, probably Doki Doki Literature Club, and the Steins;Gate series (Though I haven't beaten any of the Steins;Gate games yet)
First visual novel I'm making is about a family of cat people taking in a normal human and raising it as their own kid (Sounds cute, is cute, but there's lore)
And then the second one will be about a zombie apocoplyse, but they have time travels (That one's gonna be a paaaaaaaaaaain to code)

@EllaTheQueen6 Nice. Both Doki Doki literature club and I only beat the original Steins Gate, are awesome. Another one I enjoy even though it’s an Otome is Pio Fiore. I think that one is very underrated.
Those premises sound pretty good. I can imagine the time travel one would be tricky to make. Do you have any other ideas for visual novels?
@Themagusx1 I don't have any other ideas at the time. I could definitely come up with more, but I tend to come up with the story with my best friend, and we've both kinda agreed not to come up with more ideas till I finish the first two

@EllaTheQueen6 That’s a good idea, so you are not overwhelmed with ideas and you can focus on your visual novels you already have planned. So you have to learn C# for both novels or just one of them?
