when i was 7, some of my brothers friends had a bunch of shopping trolleys and were ramming them (the trolleys) into each other, head on, just for fun as kids normally do. like an idiot, i asked one of them if i could jump in for a ride. and i got promised nobody would ram the trolley while i was in it. i then jumped in, at the front end, and then proceeded to get spun around like a fun fair ride. this is the gory bit. one of the group then decided it would be funny to ram his trolley front end into the one i was sitting in. i jerked forward rapidly from the impact, and caught the front of the trolly face first. the damage that was done was that i nearly had my nose ripped completely off my face. as luck would have it, i live on a dead end road with a park at the end, which is where this happened. i then ran home screaming my head off, blood gushing down my face. my mum thought that i had got into a fight and went to wipe the blood from my face with a tissue, not realising the damage, because my nose was in the position that it should have been in. as she wiped my nose, it moved, my nose just held to my face by a slither of skin. seeing this, my mum almost threw up. realising something bad had happened she called the emergancy services to get info ahead to the local hospital. my dad was out at work, and rather than waiting for the ambulance my mum went to my neighbours to get a us a ride to the hospital. which they were kind enough to do. the local hospital is only a 5 minute ride away. i went in, and got my nose stiched back on, luckily the cut was straight and not jagged, as they were able to put my nose back fine. and the scar is barely visable.
Ok I am guessing a shopping trolley is what they call a shopping cart in the UK? Am I right cause I am picturing something totally different if is not a shopping cart.

I slammed my head against a wall corner once. Blood everywhere. I had to be rushed to the emergency room. Eventually they gave me stitches. But instead of putting a trained doctor to stitch me up, they sent a new doctor. I could tell by how he forgot to give me the numbing stuff. And how he messed up the stitches and had to do it again. By then I was screaming. What fun~
Damn. Reminds me of the time where I was on the edge of my mom's bed and I kept rocking back and forth (not sure why) and I fell backward and the back of my head landed on the metal handle of my mom's dresser (it was designed like a flower, so it had a somewhat sharp point at the top and bottom).
Had to get stitches and I still have scars. For some reason, I remember seeing my mom rushing to the hospital's front doors, carrying me, and then I remember waking up with some sharp pains in the back of my head as they were stitching it up. I think it's called a "near death" experience, but really, I don't think I was going to die. But it's something that's always on my mind when I think of the incident.
And far prior to that, my sister accidentally spilled hot chocolate on me (or, I just grabbed it and spilled it on myself, actually) and a small part of my skin on my chest is darker as well as part of my hand, near my thumb.
On the topic of near death experiences, once I was in a hotel room. I was tired, so I yawned. Right as I did, my dad tossed me a dime. Went right down my throught. Took about 30 seconds to gag it up, throwing up everywhere, while my parents were running around our room. Also on choking, I was in my (hilarious) performance class, and I laugh VERY easily. So I was chewing gum, and I laughed so hard, it shot down my throught. A few seconds later, it was out, and a girl asked me, "are you okay?" and I say (very awkwardly) "... yes." So yeah... I ramble on a lot.
2 wisdom teeth removed in July 1999 (need others removed soon). Lifted too much weight alone at work, resulting in a hernia. Had surgery to repair it February 2009. Also got a herniated disk at some unknown point (back gives me Hell even on good pain killers/anti-inflammatories) that I'll have to have surgery on eventually.
In the future, I want metallic arm implants al a Mortal Kombat 3 Jax. I'll take a Kano eye lazer too!
The only surgery I have ever had is the one where they removed my appendix.
It was funny, I started feeling bad at school. But it was not unusual for me, I am lactose intolerant but we never noticed it until some time ago, so I was usually feeling bad all the time. So I get home and the first thing my Mom (who is a doctor) says to me "You look bad, let's hope its not appendicitis!". Damn, Mom, you're always right!
Other than that, the only bloody accident I have ever suffered was when I was little (8-11 years, can't remember). I wanted to take a look at my face in the bathroom's mirror (which was way high up), so I had to stand on top of the sink (it was on the wall like this). 1... 2... 3... BAM There I go, blood and ceramic shards everywhere. A new familiar activity: take any shards you find from out of his clothes and body!
Gladly, the blood was mostly from my head (which is a total drama queen when it gets cut). I got a rather large cut there, but nothing too serious. I could've get it stitched but I am actually terribly scared of needles, so It healed old style, with a few special bands on it... It left a mark, but its not very noticeable unless you're specifically want to find it.
Next thing I know, they change the sink for another safer one and they install a mirror closer to my face.... Well, I actually started growing a lot after than, so in few years the second mirror became useless.
I'm absolutely terrified to go under the knife for a real surgery. I don't numb. I split my head open and felt everything the doctors did. I smashed my big toe nail into my toe and felt them cut all the way down my toe nail. Had some intestinal problems and the IV I took to knock me out and numb the pain didn't take. I'm 6 foot and 130 lbs so I'm guessing the doctors assume I don't need much to knock me out, but I have an incredible pain tolerance and I'm very high strung so I'm guessing those are reasons I don't numb? I'm not a doctor so I don't know, but neither do they.
Word of advice, even if you are a nine year old, don't kick a window just because you are angry that you're aunts friend you never met before punched the top of your head for tripping over the cord to the NES in the middle of the game. And definitely don't kick the window two more times if it doesn't break, pressing your luck further. And don't do it barefoot.
I don't always give myself signatures, but when I do, you just read it.

Have you ever had a surgery where you have been put under yet felt everything they did? There is a rare, but real disorder related to that.
When i was a baby, i had multiple nerve oporations. And 4 months ago they replaced my tendon(? im not sure of this is the correct english translation).

Wow, that must've been pretty bad.
Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?
It is a personal goal of mine to go through my entire life without ever having surgery. So far so good.

I had a surgery to repair my deviated septum......
I had that surgery too, right down to the tubes sewn into my nostrils. It was pretty terrible, but it was a life saver for me. I can't believe what a difference it made in my life in a few ways. One is I can breath so much better and when I get sick with a cold it is nothing compared to the way it was before. But the best thing that happened is when I was recovering from surgery I met a man over the internet who became my penpal, and eventually became my husband. I moved from the US to England to be with him in 2002, and if it hadn't have been for me being bed ridden with nothing to do but play on the computer, I would never have met him.
