Topic: Lakitu 3DS?

I've noticed that many people have been givinging Goomba the love lately and that is all good and lovely but why not toss up some affection for the _ mysterious bespectled turtle that controls the clouds?

Out of all the underrated beings in Mushroom Kingdom the Lakiru are my favorite, most especially the Cloud riding _Fishing Lakitu.
So basically what my purpose in this thread is to assert that the Lakitu is totally sweet and they should not be relegated to the annals of villainy. The cloud riding turtles aid Mario to some degree in SM64 and I think it's about time that we see Lakitu get own starring role.

Even more neat would it be to see a game along the lines of Lakitu Story on the 3DS.

@Toadfan, when does Fortune Street release in the USA? I'm really looking forward to playing Itadaki Street for the first time. I hope it gets a 2011 Christmas release. Having Dragon Quest and Mario together in the game is epic!

I hate that son of a b-tch Lakitu with every fibre of my being! I can stand just about every baddie in the Mushroom Kingdom but that fiend (and the mallet hurling koopa guards; whatever they're called).

Without Lakitu, it's impossible to play Super Mario 64.

I'm pro-Lakitu.

To be honest most lakitus are spiny-trowing jerks, i can only think of one or two who are real useful members of the society.

Also, I never liked Mario 64.

I don't know. I hated Lakitu at first, but over time he just got friendly. I don't know about the "new" super mario brothers games though, if he's in them. If he is an enemy in those games, then I just hate Lakitu all over again.
