@Sequel Ciao, I agree with your reasoning, if the goal is to make the experience even more fluid but not by chasing fps or graphics. We hope for a next Switch. Meanwhile, I have decided not to buy next gen Sony or Microsoft anymore but to join the Switch a Steam Deck, of which I appreciate the basic philosophy of the project. Happy holidays.
@Sequel enjoy gaming as Nintendo has in mind, is not and will never be a matter of fps or graphic. The market is pushing everyone to fps and graphic but the reality is that you can enjoy every Switch game with some compromises if you don't think to fps or graphic, in a couple off years the market is completely changed due to strong marketing from Invidia or AMD and bad marketing from Sony. Gaming is not fps. Not for Nintendo. I just wish next Switch will be a recycle plastic product, with low energy, a little bigger oled and more power but then, what will happen if you start to desire 120' fps and next next gen games on it? You will never stop in this marketing rush. Ciao. My personal ideas.
I own Switch from the first day of release, bought when I was working in Beijing, Hong Kong version. It is perfect as on the first day, always played handled or dock, with scree protector. Never had drift problems. Honestly this console amazes me more and more, in 2023 it is still perfect, and despite having tried the next gen, nintendo is the winner, with a console that consumes very little, with sd cards and with the simplicity and immediacy that only Nintendo can create. My next one will be a steam deck, because playing where you want and as you want is worth more than fps or graphics. The Switch is still the best console project ever existed today, I hope the pro is a worthy heir. Ciao. I am playing now Bayonetta 3, crisis core, DQ treasures and Pokemon scarlet.
