Topic: Zelda 25 Anniversay Rundown

Lots of news in regards to Zelda's 25th. Some may have been missed.

• First off, Mario 3DS will see a special Zelda themed level that's from a top down viewing angle akin to Zelda's 2D games
• Four Swords is free and downloadable on DSiWare (from both DSi and 3DS) this Fall.
• Zelda OoT Soundtrack for the first people who registers their game on Club Nintendo
• Zelda Symphony touring around the world and there will be a Symphony Soundtrack available later this year.
• Gold Wii Remote
• Zelda Skyward Sword is releasing this Holiday.
• Zelda Link's Awakening DX is on sale starting today for $5.99 (This is the Gameboy Color version). _{thanks turtlelink :3}

Prediction: Club Nintendo's Platinum Reward is going to be related to Zelda in some way, no doubt.

Is the four swords game supposed to be all new or the one that was an extra on the GBA version of Link to the past?

Are the prices the same? In the US, LADX is $5.99.

Unfortunately, if Four Swords is the GBA version and is alone (likely), then it's useless for me unless they add some online play. I don't have any friends with a DSi or 3DS for local play.

I saw $5.99 for LADX in Canada as well.

Hmmm that gold Wiimote would look good with the gold CCpro I got with GoldenEye. It kinda looks weird a gold CCpro connected to a white Wiimote. Other than that not that much stuff I am interested in. I already have Links Awakening DX in cartridge and a GBA and I doubt that by the time I get a 3DS the sale will still be on. The Four Swords sounds cool but I dont have a DSi and once again probably by the time I get a 3DS it wont be available for free anymore. As for Skyward Sword that was coming out already, regardless of Zeldas 25th anniversary. Personally I think they should have done something a bit better like maybe a limited edition Zelda themed 3DS or Wii like they did with Marios anniversary.

I don't think they'll be charging Four Swords at all considering Miyamoto said it was a free gift to us. We'll have to wait and see what happens. I'm very curious to see if this is the same Four Swords game that was planned to be made for DS back in 2004/2005 when it was initially announced (with online play, I think).

I just downloaded LADX and I'm really enjoying it. I never played this game and rember seeing it at KB Toys waaay back then and how I really wanted it but costed $40 I think at the time.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, that would be cool.

It was confirmed somewhere that it would be the GBA version of Four Swords.
