I'm just wondering if there are any NL members who make or have made games? Particularly, I'm looking for the best pixel creator and any tips to get started and be on my way. I've looked around on Google, and I can't really find and pinpoint websites and the like that give me the information I want and am looking for. I have Gamesalad downloaded and I want to get started with that. It might not really make my dream game become a reality in the most accurate- picture perfect way I see it, but it's a start. I'd love to learn coding and the like but I would rather work my way there because I don't want to be discouraged with how overwhelming it can be.
(And I don't want to bother going to school to learn something I can actually learn on my own instead of going to class and listen to someone babble on and waste my time).
Been planning this out for a good long year and I just want to get to work on it. I even made a Microgame on DIY based on it (annoyed how there isn't a pixel animator as user-friendly out there as in DIY, or I just can't find it).
Aaand, I'm not even sure if this topic should be posted here or if another one exists... I know Pixelman is working on a game last I heard... Anyone else?
Oh, and I'm a comic book artist. Amateur, I guess...
