Topic: Haunted Chocolatier

I'll move this over to the Switch forum whenever that announcement happens.

So, honestly I was not a fan of Stardew Valley, part of it was that I would rather just play Rune Factory 4 or something. The other reason was the art style honestly...I don't know why but it just wasn't doing it for me. Despite this new game having a similar art style, I'm....actually interested in it.

Why?....Probably the chocolate, lol. I'm also fine with those store managing games where you create items and sell them. Put those two together, and, yeah...I'm in. I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

Honestly, I wasn't very interested in Stardew Valley either, but not because it was the art style, but the farming sim aspect tied with the music. This game seems to be way more interesting in it's concepts, taking the stuff that's good about Stardew and applying it to an entirely different type of game. This seems to be more like a RPG type thing, with life sim elements, which really interests me.. and I'll probably be keeping tabs on it for a while.

@CactusMan I heard Stardew was good, but I could never get past the first few months.

Didn't really check the music for that game, as for the farming thing yeah it's not for everyone. I don't really play many of those myself, but I ended up loving Rune Factory 4, so, yeah. xp

Stardew was a really fantastic experience, because of the sheer content and depth in an indie game created by one person. The amount of time ConcernedApe spent on it, and somehow having the drive to get back into it to make a new experience now… I’m excited.
