im in ohio idk the time zone may be getting wii speak or keyboard today or some day soon never seen keyboard though and this is my first time ever using a forum so idk exactly what to do 2 days til my birthday maybe they will give me one as present

Theres a list of people on the first page here. you probably know that though. hr31 does not sound not too noobish to me. you've put in alot of hours. I'm like 43? Anyways, alot of nice people here so I'm sure you'll find hunting partners. By the way....hows this game rate to those other versions?

edit: You hunt the quest with the giginox, barioth (i think), and one ~dont recall. Urgents I believe.
ty i like this one it is better than the other for me because i can play online psp i needed a ps3 to play with others so it was not that great and now that ive played online i can never go back im not even on the electric water dragon in offline but have completed all possible online quests for my hr event quests are included
The 1 to 4 am might be a little more up my alley to hunt with you. I like to try to be off no later then 3 am myself.( and Jayarr calls me a night owl). So if I'm on tonight ill look for you. You might have your urgent soon I see. Oh and btw. Your on the east coast. I'm above you in michigan.

on the wiispeak. that is your microphone. Just look at your booklet that comes with it, it'll tell you how to properly set it up. You may have to do some fiddlin with it to find the setup that works best. I use wiispeak AND a keyboard. Sometimes others using wiispeak have to type in part of what they're saying, because I cant always tell what they're saying.
Man I was getting killed like crazy yesterday. Luckly the people with me were nice and seemed to be there to enjoy themselves too.
At times was dying at one hits, more often than I should of been. I was trying to get the rathian+ armor, but looked and noticed that i was really close to having all the materials for alloy+. So that's what i've been doin alot of today (i only needed certain ore) and i finally got a complete set of + armor. About time. it was so low though (ithink under 120?) but i'm not even done upgrading it ecept for one part, already past 140 now. I'm gonna keep building it up while i go after parts for others. Maybe I'll not die nearly as bad now.
@JayArr@LongTimeGamer @ RaySilver. Sorry I could not play that long tonight. It very rare that I'm on at that time of the night. I was looking to see if JayArr was on. Cool finding out where you live though. That's about an hour and 45minutes from here. Drove through there on fathers day to go to best buy. Its a long story. Can't remember the city it was. Benting Harbor I think.

Realisation: Playing with NL folks is so fun because we (well most of us anyway) aren't just about the grind. You know, the game kind of devolves after HR 51 into more kills, more HRP, more armor sets, more titles, MOAR PRO. We've done a pretty good job of keeping the game fresh with our antics. Low-rank challenges and milling about in the tavern/guest houses are the most fun I've had in MH3 since failing the Alatreon urgent for 6 days straight. Good times.
Honestly, I could care less about being a noob or a pro or HRs as long as I'm having fun and the team is having a good time.
Sleep bombing just sucks the fun out of the game IMO, even if it is a legitimate strategy and great for farming items. Nothing beats hacking away at heavily-armoured beasts with the equivalent of a sharpened stick.
Just to add my two cents, I was pretty much hooked on this game when I just played it offline. But, once I got online and met up with a few NL'ers, the "fun factor" really went to a different level. Thanks to everyone I've played with for helping to show this "noob" the ropes.

Thinking about going online tonight, finish upgrading all my weapons, mine the volcano some...finish up all my quests. Not sure how long I'll stay on though, since I didn't get much sleep this morning. Depending on how fast everything goes I might even be able to take on Alatreon.
EDIT: Eh, dunno why...but don't feel like going online all of the sudden tonight. Maybe I'm tired, lol...
I can be on in about an hour if anyone needs help just post ill see it. If not I might just do offline farming for honey and need one more ceadus part. Or ill just play dragon quest 9. Let me know!
