It was okay. No new games for Wii U, 2014 still looks kinda bad. But GBA games on Wii U (not on 3DS, wat) and Little Mac joining Smash Bros is very cool. They're not confirming X for 2014, so I guess that won't happen. At least they're aware the West is interested in the game?
Nintendo still gets the focus wrong, a bit. 2-3 minutes about a sidecharacter in some Layton game that will sell anyway, but the fantastic indie titles barely get a line in there?
I don't think anyone will say Nintendo's turning the tide with the Direct, but I also didn't leave disappointed. They showed some real games.
It was really disheartening to see all the negativity at the end of the direct. I don't know what's wrong with gamers today but a lot of our peers sounded like immature children. Especially when Nintendo says before EVERY direct what is going to be in it. They say stupid crap like their is going to be a new game release when obviously there won't be. Anyway I won't let it sour the day, this direct was great, a lot of gaming to be done on the 3DS until Mario Kart arrives
I think this Direct was fan freaking tastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No real surprises (Inazuma Eleven out now and only on the eShop surprised me at least). Looks like the 3DS is off to a great start this year, but the Wii U well....it does look like it will pick up in the later half of the year. Still much to buy so little cash!!!!!!! I'll give this Direct 8/10!!!
Formally Square-enixFan, Neo-GeoFan. A lover of fine games and handheld systems!!!!!!!!!! The New 3DS XL is amazing, soon the NX will be upon us! Backloggery Check my Youtube channel out! http://www.youtube.com/user/Ha...
Well that was disappointing, even with low expectations I really thought they'd give us at least one new reveal after all the bad news of the last 2 months. Still no SMT IV for Europe either. At least Mario Golf and Kirby look good!
To me this was a bad ND, yes X, MK8 and Bayonetta 2 was shown but May 30th?! That is faaaaaaar too long away, there will be a huge game drought and the Wii U will suffer for it, Nintendo isn't putting out enough games and the Wii U is selling badly.... The PS4 sells around 100,000 more units every week and it hasn't even launched in Japan?! Nintendo need to get their act together quickly.

Eshop titles thrown together in a few weeks? Not really my thing. The big games that we saw new footage of look great, but I've never got too excited over seeing new footage of games. As usual the posters here will lap it up, but there's nothing here to make someone want a Wii U if they didn't already
There were a lot of interesting 3DS games, that's for sure. I'm glad we got to see a bit of X and Bayonetta 2 as well, although the vague release dates probably mean they're quite far off. I think it's probably time I preordered those games too.
So many good eshop announcements! The new Level 5 game, Inazuma Eleven, Pokemon Battle Tozei <3 1001 Spikes (?) reminds me of "Give Up" lol. That could be a pretty fun title.
Those Mario Kart and Bayonetta trailers were phucking ACE! I'm now twenty times more excited for those games then I was before! Still not completely sold on X even I like the concept so will have to see more down the line.
Overall, was pretty satisfied with this Direct.
Btw, did anyone else love how Iwata said "FINALLY" when announcing the GBA VC arrival? LOL Would've been more excited for it if they were for the 3DS instead of the Wii U but ehhh, at least they're finally coming.

Look at the facebook comments. Lots of grown men crying. They get all that and complain about not having Flipnote. Lol. It would have been nice to see more stuff for the Wii U, but over all it was decent. It's not nearly as bad as some directs have been.
