Topic: Toki Tori is well-liked? Why?

Toki Tori... I remember seeing him in the late 2000's, since his debut on WiiWare, and some guy here on NL who had that character set as his avatar years ago. (Something Drake?) Forgive me when I admit this, but Toki Tori's games are just plain ridiculous in puzzles and thinking. It requires too much thinking. Not even remotely fair. And who does Toki himself even think he is anyway? Why do other people like him and his games? I find both of his games to be unfair and not so fun at all. Sorry, but that's MY problematic opinion. Yes I have played his games, but I never had been warned that they were going to be so challenging and stuff. Now this the thanks I got? Sigh.

I was going to share more of my story here, but don't feel like it. Just wanted to let my feelings out about this already. My conclusion is: I don't like Toki Tori and wouldn't want to play his games again, because they are too silly in difficulty and nature. I don't like Toki himself, either.

I've never played the games but just yesterday I was thinking about the time Official Nintendo Magazine did a review or preview of a Toki Tori game with the subheading 'That's just his name, he doesn't like David Cameron or anything'

The games have an obvious visual charm, but I have to admit, it doesn't take many levels in the first game for me to get fatigued from playing it.
