Topic: Sent an e-mail to Cartoon Network.

Hello there. Being furious with the poor treatment of Cartoon Network, I decided to send them an e-mail about what's happening to them:

"This is a message from a formal fan of yours. How you manage to betray us is no mystery. Not only have you forgotten your old audiences, you also stabbed in the back of newer generation of kids. You should be ashamed of yourself for what you have done. But before you dismiss this as another whining e-mail, read this closely.

Back in the old days (1992-2003), you were one of the highest-rated channels. You had the best shows out there. First off, you used to pick up old shows that was made by Hanna-Barbera. Shows like Tom & Jerry, The Flintstone, Scooby Doo, Where Are You?, and more. Fans of the old shows and new fans back in the old days apperatice those shows and I'm glad you made an block completely dedicated to them.

The news shows made at the time were also classic shows. They were entertaining, addicting, and memorable. Remember Dexter Labortory, Cow & Chicken, Johhny Bravo, and The Powerpuff Girls? They are consider your best shows.

But what was the selling point for me and millions of other fans was no other then Toonami, an increabile block that was one of the most successful blocks in animation history. The action shows litterally thirved and pleased all fans of any ages. American animation included Superfriends, He-Man, and Voltron. In the early days, those shows made a great number of Toonami fans.

However, what made Toonami so special and so unique is that it made us fans of animes, Japanese form of cartoon. As you should know, some of them had HIGHER rating then most shows back when they were released. The best of them were Sailor Moon, Ronin Warrior, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragonball, and most importantly, Dragonball Z. All of these shows I mentioned made you the best possible channel for kids entertainment.

However, starting in 2004, when you took off almost all of the old shows (Which didn't matter much.), you started to go downhill and fast. The last classic show you produced were Foster Home for Imaginary Friends. The quality of the shows also dived. Chowder is okay, but nothing special, Flapjack is so-so, mixed with an bad idea. Geogre of the Jungle is bad, plain bad. Total Drama Island was good, but my intrest didn't stay long. However, I could not bear watching 6Teen and have no plan to watch it. That show is unoriginal, and unintresting. Not to mentioned I could not stand the art style.

However, you made your fans even more outraged by taking Friday, Friday off the air and everyone loved it! Now kids without Boomerange have NO oppertunity to watch Dexter Labortory, Cow & Chicken, Johnny Bravo, Ed, Edd'n, Eddy, or any of the good shows that YOU used to air. Replacing it with patehic spin-offs like Fried Dynamite didn't work one bit and only got you an even more negitive reputation.

However, none of this compares to what was your downfall and what killed off intrest of millions and by that, I mean MILLIONS of fans across the planet.

On September 22, 2008, you cancel Toonami with no warning, no information, and no reasons. It didn't even get an replacement for crying out loud! You need to understand, killing off Toonami without realzing what your fans wanted has lost you millions of fans. We lost almost all animes from TV, the quality of your shows dropped still, and you are losing money. And personally, by cancelling Toonami, you basicilly killed off my intrest in watching TV at all.

You made yourself an even bigger embarrasement by airing and making LIVE ACTION SHOWS, something that you did not pledge to do! This is Cartoon Network, NOT REALITY NETWORK. Not to mention almost all of your live action shows bombed in views.

I also saw a Cartoon Network rant and this person was watching trailes for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince along with hundereds of other people in the movie theater, and you were adversiting CN Real! They booed at you for breaking a promise, to be 24/7 cartoon ONLY! They were furious at you.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Not only have you betrayed long-time fans, you have also made an roadblock for new fans. You have gone wrong, you have no idea what your thinking.

I'm going to be honest here, THERE IS NOTHING INTRESTING IN YOUR CHANNEL NOWADAYS! Look what you did to the channel. I don't watch TV anymore because of your repeated terrible financial choices. It is in ruins and if this bull**** keeps up, your going to go out of business. By cancelling Toonami and making live-action shows, therefore, your shooting yourself in the foot!

After reading all this, your probably going to dismiss this as another fan whining. It is not, this is the truth. You have lost your way of making good shows.

I'm not saying "Bring back all the old shows, kick off the new ones, and bring back Toonami.". But what I am saying is to look at the old shows you used to air and LEARN from them. Make an quality action block that consist of great shows that we all enjoy. If you really care about your audiences, this would not have happen. If you just remotely care, you would respone to this message. But apperently you don't, so you will pay the price for not listening to anyone.

You know from that e-mail message I sent them, I was downright furious with them. I can only hope they respone and respone well.
