Topic: Minecraft, why should it come to wii?

So i was thinking that minecraft should come to wii and i think it will be a huge game.
So what do you guys think?

With the number of Wii's available that aren't online? Highly doubtful. Plus the game isn't even finished, which means that they would have to be able to patch the Wii version and update it. As far as I can tell, this is staying a PC exclusive for a long time.

Can the Wii even handle an online server like that? What about controls?

Maybe on the XBox, but on the Wii, highly doubtful... how it'll be able to handle such a massive evironment plus the online server, it would be near to impossible for the Wii to cope. Even on the Wi-Fi compatible games now, there's major lagginess, so this would be downright impossible to play.

Why can't people grasp that Minecraft can't ever appear on consoles (or especially handhelds), because they just dont have enough power - even high end computers have trouble running it at the best of times.

Furthermore, the game just doesn't suit any platform other than the PC. It's supported by a large mod community (you wouldn't get any sort of modding with a retail game) and the controls would be unwieldy.

Get it on your PC for the fraction of the price of any speculative console version.

I think edhe has the right idea here. I just can't see this game working on any consoles.

And yeah, I watch videos of minecraft on YouTube and this guy has the best end computer, all modded out for gaming, and even he gets crashes and major lag, think how a console would hold up with that? And lets not forget, most PCs are much more powerful than a console, plus they're upgradeable and changable.

I've never played minecraft, and it really looks, to me atleast, like a game that would not require a powerful console, but like I said, I havent played it, but if it came to a console, I may try it out.

Minecraft is strictly PC fare. It's something difficult to run.
