I do not have any current Nintendo devices and was wondering if I should invest in a 3DS, which both me and my sister could use or a WiiU, which is more expensive and would be only for me.

They are both good, but I say go with a 3DS for now, and get the Wii U later.

3DS... It's cheaper, and there are WAY more games for it.

I like both fairly equally.

3DS is fine right now, but Wii U needs more games! I'm still pretty occupied with Arkham City and Runner2, but I need some definate future release dates.
