I missed the first half. I'm curious to see how Maradona's coaching holds up against worthy opponents such as Germany. So far its 1-0 for Germany but this could become a great match.

Yeah I don't know either. I just assume nobody is offsides until a ref tells me someone is. But even then they're wrong like half the time, so..

And I strongly believe the winner of this match (Germany of course) will go on to win the World Cup. These might be the best two soccer teams right now.

I didn't want Spain to win and it would have been a great ending if Paraguay coulda pulled the upset.

Yeah, that would have been cool. But still, it wasn't an easy win for Spain.

I would like to see Spain surprising Germany next Wednesday, though. I would love to see a Netherlands-Spain final, that'd be awesome.

Germany is going to win it all, although Uraguay could win too!

That was a good run while it lasted. Congrats to Netherlands for their win they deserved it. I actually hope they win the World Cup, that way we could say that at least we lost to the champions LOL. But I was happy after Argentinas 4 - 0 loss! A loss for Argentina is a win for Brazil . For some reason I knew Felipe Melo was a bad choice, I actually commented that he was not up to par on a earlier comment, and once he did a goal against and got a completely unecessary red card (the foul was unnecessary, the red card was more than deserved) I knew we were doomed. On a side note, Ronaldo tweeted to Felipe Melo saying that if he sees him, he'll kick his ass. LOL. Seriously though, Felipe Melo is public enemy #1 I'm almost sure something bad is going to happen to him, South Americans are a bit fanatical with football and players have been attacked for stuff like this. Oh well, Another 4 years, and the World Cup will be here, in Brazil!!! Time to start saving money because I want to go to as many games as I can! 2014 will be Brazils 6th cup win!!!! But for now, go Uruguay, go Netherlands! I'll be happy if either team wins.

My predictions:

Semi-finals:
Netherlands-Uruguay: 2-0
Germany-Spain: 2-1

Match for 3rd place:
Uruguay-Spain: 0-2

Final:
Netherlands-Germany: 1-2 (I surely don't hope so but seeing Germany is doing pretty darn well this is a possible result)

@BrazCanaMan: Argentina is to you Brazilians what Germany is to us Dutch, isnt it? The big rival. A team you just don't wanna lose against. The Germans kept us from winning back in '74 as did Argentina in '78. I wouldn't want to see that national trauma repeated.

Would be pretty darn cool if the Netherlands-Belgium ticket for the FIFA World Cup in 2018 wins. But yeah, first up is Brazil.

You know what ruins soccer?

Lack of bathroom breaks. In football or baseball there's a quick intermission between possessions, and for other various reasons.

Yet soccer goes nonstop. So I can watch the entire game and each team scores once. I go to the bathroom for two minutes and Holland scores twice.

Then it's not like football where they show the replay ten times, so my two minute break cost me having any idea of what just happened.

You've got to go before or at half time. They're not turning this bus around just for you.

So holland how does it feel to be in the final?

It felt rather unusual. After the match there was a huge cacophony of cars, people shouting in euphoria and off course the vuvuzelas. There even were some people setting of illegal fireworks as if it were New Year's Eve.

I'd love to see Uruguay become third in the third place match by the way.
