Topic: Legend of Zelda and Lore

I have no idea where this is to go, or even if me bringing this forth will make a difference. One can only hope, and so here it goes.

I have been a fan of The Legend of Zelda series for over 10 years now. I have loved the gameplay of each game, but more recently I have become even more interested in the lore of the series. The history of the Legend of Zelda Universe, the philosophies within it, etc. The thing is, however, that the games focus so much on gameplay that there isn't much focus on lore. I have talked with others that are fans of the series and most of us agree that the series would be even greater if there was more of a lore aspect to the game (even if it is just optional to read, in-game books).

So, the idea/suggestion(s) is as follows, add more of a lore aspect to The Legend of Zelda. Honestly, the Hyrule Historia might be considered a piece of lore that was only made/published because of how interested the fans are in the lore. Maybe even make it easier to have dialog with developers about the lore (doesn't have to be entirely transparent) like certain other companies. I remember for years the debates on the timeline, how many people tried to talk with Nintendo (due to it remaining such a mystery for so long) and didn't get much chance, and never a clear answer.

The gameplay of the series is very important, but more and more people seem to also be getting into the series' lore, and so I think there needs to be an increased focus there.

Ummm you do realize that this site has no connection to Nintendo right? I say that cause your posts sounds more like a suggestion to Nintendo then anything else.

Even if this site has no connection to Nintendo directly, there is a chance that someone that CAN contact Nintendo might see this and do so.

I figured it is better than not posting it anywhere, even if it is a long shot.

@AoSS: Ah gotcha it won't hurt, but is there no way for you to contact Nintendo directly with this idea? Sorry if that came off rude I wasn't trying to be, but if there is wouldn't that be a better option then hoping for this longshot?

They just copy and paste the same exact response to everyone that sends any ideas and none of the ideas are ever used.
