Tetris DS Express

That sounds like a good idea. I'm OK with Nintendo bringing out a smaller portion of Tetris (and Planet Puzzle League) because they are hard to find and it gives people a chance to play them without spending $50 on ebay for the original.

It would probably have multiplayer, just no camera use.

I don't think the using the camera would work, and the balance board wouldn't be used because that is a wii accessory, not a DSi accessory.

Like Victoria said on the 1st page, I'm a sucker for quick-to-play cartridgeless (word?) dsiware games, so would almost certainly buy it

A guaranteed buy for me.

Yeah I would love Tetris express as a name and it would be cool if it was just a basic version of tetris like the gameboy version and it was only 200 points!

With over a 1000 views in a couple hours I was almost certain that this was gonna be an announcement thread.

This would be PERFECT for DSiWare. I was having similar thoughts myself.

Don't hold your breath on this one, Nintendo will more than likely need to get the Tetris license back first and development of the title for DSiWare would logistically be a lower priority in my opinion with 3DS on the horizon. Tetris on 3DS though would be a killer app, shouldn't be 3D Tetris like on the Virtual Boy, but Tetris in 3D...sweet.

Lol, old thread. Tetris Party Live has been rated for DSiWare, so it could be coming out any time now, but I wouldn't expect it being 200 points since Tetris Party was 1200 points and Tetris Party Deluxe is $30.
