The right hinge on my nintendo ds lite recently cracked and it seems to be getting worse every time I use it. I'm just wondering what the best course of action is.... send it in to nintendo, bring it to a local gameshop for repair, get a replacement shell and do it myself (if so what's a good model + site to order from), or don't do anything / not worth the money
My DS had a pretty gnarly crack through the right hinge about a year ago. I didn't have the patience or money to get it fixed professionally so I used a small amount of Gorilla Glue to mend it. My DS works fine, however, in the future I won't be able to trade it in at places like GameStop or Best Buy because it is now considered modified/broken.
Mikero_ - as far as I'm aware, broken hinges aren't covered by the Nintendo guarantee, so you're looking at paying out to get another one. Nintendo will repair or replace it for a fee and I'd always recommend going with them: even if they're not the cheapest at least you know it's a quality service.
Well that happened to my old DSlite a few months ago & my coarse of action was to save up & get a new DS lite & the replacement should last me till Nintendo releases that DS successor as opposed to that DS with a couple features shoehorned in known as tghe DSi
That happened to my wife's first DS lite. We ended up selling it on Ebay with an accurate item description and buying a replacement.
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.
