Topic: Brain Age games updated

I went to update Dr. Mario last night, and noticed that both BrainAge Arts and Letters and Brain Age Math had updates as well. I have no idea what the updates do, but I just wanted to let people know who didn't find out yet.

I didn't realise Dr Mario had an update. Hmmm.... I'll go check that one out. It's still one of my favourite games.

I deleted Brain Age Math. I really thought I'd like it, but I didn't like it one bit. :b Any idea what the update updated?

well, many nintendo DSiWare games have been updated lately... Maybe they're getting us ready for something?

If it means being able to load games from SD card, I hope so.

I had to "clean out the fridge" for the first time to download Castle of Magic and Electroplankton. I have plenty of room on my SD card, so loading from an SD card would be great.

I had to clean out MY fridge a long time ago unfortunately. C'mon Nintendo, sort it out ffs.

Where do you find out about these updates? I've had a look around, but I must be missing it? I guess I'm not sure where to look.

Just go to the shop channel where you got the game originally, and download it like normal.

It's because the games being updated were the ones pre-loaded in the Black Friday DSi bundles.

Yeah, I just checked the two clocks and CHG: Card Classics and they're also updated. Guess it wasn't anything big for us.

Not true... almost all Nintendo games were updated, and only the mario themed ones were in the black friday DSi´s

@KillTheHaterzzz Actually there were 2 black friday dsi specials, a Mario one, and a Brain Age one. So I think Sylverstone is correct.

and the other updated games? the non brain age/mario games?

@KillTheHaterzzz I don't know about the non brain age/mario games. The only other games I downloaded on my DSi are the ArtStyle games and Asphault 4, and none of those were updated. Hopefully Nintendo will say something as to why some games were updated, and what the updates are for.

Maybe they are fixing some exploits not know to the general public. Just like the latest Wii Menu update.

Maybe they are updating those games (for people who don't have it preinstalled on their systems) just to detract people from getting survey coins or double survey coins for the dsiware games on Club Nintendo? Sad that they might do that, but you never know. lol!
