@Bobpie TWEWY is very well-known. It's almost at the level of Kingdom Hearts on the popularity scale. The SMT series is a truly lesser-known set of games which blow TWEWY out of the water imo.
Too much, TWEWY is no where near. It's well known to gamers, but invisible mostly to non-gamers.
@Digiki We were talking about gamers though. I agree - TWEWY, while niche, is not underrated nor unknown among gamers.
Final Fantasy is probably the only series by Square-Enix known to western non-gamers, and then only as peripheral knowledge. Thanks to FF: The Spirits Within and that band which plagiarised the name a while back, I'm sure. Even the more accessible Wii titles like the Crystal Chronicles and FF Fables games probably pass under their radar.

1. Chrono Trigger - I got this game to know if it was one of the greatest RPG's of all time and after playing did I figur,ed why: The story was great, the characters are interesting, the fighting system was engaging for its time, many character combos, Multiple endings, lots of Side quests, and the music which I would love to hear all day. 2. Bowser's Inside story - With its cheerful and polished graphics, fun and unique battle system, whacky and humorous story, And many more extras, This game was like fresh air to me with all the generic rpg's around. 3. N+ - It is a simple puzzle-platformer with great "ninja physics" and loads of challenges and extras. It even has a level editor which you can share to others via wifi (though the servers are now shut down). 4. Retro game Challenge - A collection of "old" videogames which all but the racing game is addicting. The visuals and sounds may not look good to some, but it comforts the nostalgia gamer in us 5. Upcoming games - Megaman zero collection (all four games in one plus extras), Okamiden (sequel of the ps2 game), Fantasy life (an RPG/sim game which has 20? jobs with their own unique story and gameplay. It also features the artistic work of Earthbound designer, Brownie Brown.
