Topic: Annnnd they're gone

Just tried to preorder the new Legend of Zelda amiibo , but I was 3 hours late and they're... just... gone. This was my second attempt following an email from Nintendo store. Does anybody know if any online retailers still have these available to preorder?.

Yeah, an avid Amiibo collector and somehow I missed the deadline for those three. Oh well, back to the ol Amiibo hunting grounds (AKA call every store I know of and wrestle with annoyed shop assistants via telephone until they realize what an Amiibo is) for me. Glad I got the Smash and Splatoon amiibos preordered.

Really have no idea how help you sadly. Already checked if any of the stores that have amiibos have them?

Any stores I've check over the last few days been all "it says unavailable on the site".

I'd check occasionally. I got lucky with the Majora's Mask Link amiibo on Best Buy.

Got lucky with a retailer in the area, just picked em up. Weirdly enough I was told they wouldn't get any new Amiibo in 2015 since nobldy bought them.

I was bummed myself to see that Majora's Mask Link is still "sold out" at Best Buy and Skyward Sword Link is about $60 on amazon. I was really happy that for the longest time I didn't have to worry about this exclusivity any more. Don't know why they keep insisting on doing it. Ah well. Guess I'll just have to keep checking.

But the same thing happened to me with the Cloud Strife Smash Brothers Amiibo, only noticed the email until 2 hours after, and they were already gone

I wasn't interested in Skyward Sword Link, but even I can't help but grimace at Amazon for how they handled its release. Prime Only AND shipped in bubble mailers? That's so disrespectful, seriously.

I missed the Twilight Princess Link preorder, so I went to a store only to learn they only had enough stock to cover the preorders. Collecting amiibo is a frustrating hobby.
