In addition to 10 classic Namco titles, some never before localized in the west, a NES-stylized version of "Pac-Man Championship Edition" is included as a bonus!

Equipped with convenient modern functions!

Convenient features such as the "save function" that allows you to interrupt the game at any time and the "replay function" that allows you to start over at the last minute.

NES and Namco fans will be happy with the titles on offer here. Some of them have never been released in the west before and the star of the show – Pac-Man Championship Edition – is an entirely new NES port created just for this collection. Each of the 11 games has at least some value, but the bare-bones nature of the presentation is a little disappointing: for a game with Museum in the title, we'd hoped each game would have been celebrated a little more with art and behind-the-scenes info.

If you like Namco arcade games, you'll find plenty to enjoy in this collection. Everything here (except the all-new Pac-Man: Championship Edition) originated on the Famicom, but most of these titles never arrived on the NES. It's great to finally have access to them all in one convenient package.

There are a couple of quality-of-life improvements, but they're weirdly implemented. Save states work fine, but the "rewind" function is clumsy as it only rewinds to fixed points in time, rather than however much or little you might want. The lack of button remapping is frustrating and a major oversight, though if it bothers you too much, you can just remap the Switch buttons in the OS.

I'd rate the individual games as follows:

  • Dig Dug 8/10
  • Dragon Buster 5/10
  • Dragon Spirit: The New Legend 8/10
  • Galaxian 8/10
  • Mappy 7/10
  • Pac-Man 8/10
  • Pac-Man: Championship Edition 9/10
  • Sky Kid 6/10
  • Splatterhouse: Wanpuku Graffiti 8/10
  • The Tower of Druaga 6/10
  • Xevious 6/10

Pac-Man: CE and Splatterhouse: WG are both great and worth the price alone. Recommended to all retro game fans.
