This game was originally covered as part of our Nindie Round Up series that sought to give coverage to a wider breadth of Switch eShop games beyond our standard reviews. In an effort to make our impressions easier to find, we're presenting the original text below in our mini-review format.

Both Gunman Clive games were among the best indie titles on the Nintendo 3DS, and are best experienced on that platform, especially with the stereoscopic 3D turned up. With the 3DS eShop long shuttered, we have these HD editions, bundled together for your enjoyment.
Both games are very similar. They are run-and-gun action platformers with a unique "monochrome pencil" art style, perhaps inspired by the Nintendo DS title Hotel Dusk. Both feature a mostly acoustic guitar soundtrack that fits perfectly. Both feature a silent cowboy protagonist, who ventures from the familiar Old West to some delightfully goofy environments, shooting everything that moves along the way. There is cake. There are ducks.
At just $5 U.S., this mini-collection is an excellent value, and sure to provide hours of fun to anyone who enjoys classic 2D run-and-gun action.
