Overall, Capcom Arcade Stadium is a very good package filled with brilliant games, each updated with modern functionality. It doesn’t rival the quality of original hardware or the likes of M2’s sublime individual ports of arcade masterworks as seen with the release of Esp.Ra.De Psi, but at £30 for 32 games, it is well worth the price, warts and all.

Capcom Arcade Stadium is the kind of game collection I want to see much more of on Nintendo Switch and NS2. It's very much like a Virtual Console for classic Capcom arcade games, in that you can pay for only the games you want, or around $30 for the whole bunch. There are lots of quality-of-life features, including save states and rewind, that make these games much more accessible and fun today.

Here are my quick rankings of the games.

10 / 10 Outstanding Final Fight / Super Street Fighter II Turbo: The Ultimate Championship
9/10 Excellent Strider / Street Fighter II': Hyper Fighting
8/10 Great 1941: Counter Attack / 1942 / 1943 / 1944: The Loop Master / 19XX: The War Against Destiny / Ghouls'n Ghosts / Carrier Airwing / Captain Commando / Street Fighter II / Powered Gear / Giga Wing
7/10 Good Commando / Ghosts'n Goblins / Section Z / Forgotten Worlds / Dynasty Wars / Senjo no Okami II (a.k.a. Mercs) / Mega Twins / Varth: Operation Thunderstorm / Warriors of Fate / Cyberbots / Battle Circuit / Progear
6/10 OK Vulgus / Pirate Ship Higemaru
5/10 Meh Tatakai no Banka (a.k.a. Trojan) / Legendary Wings / Bionic Commando

Highly recommended to all fans of arcade games!
