Elements of Burnout Paradise are starting to show their age now, but nobody can argue with the quality of its actual racing action. If you can put up with its various niggles and quirks and don’t mind the astronomical price (relative to other systems), it’s easily one of the most entertaining – and certainly one of the fastest – racing games on the Switch.

Burnout: Paradise is a very good game from a very good series, finally available on a Nintendo platform. This remaster runs and plays great, without any technical hiccups - critical for an open-world racing / driving game like this. There's a lot of fun to be had wandering the map and taking on missions, though I do wish there was a little bit more structure sometimes. Make sure you spend plenty of time learning the map before you take on the tougher challenges!
Recommended for fans of games like Need for Speed.
