About
World of Goo is a multiple award winning physics-based puzzle construction game made entirely by two guys. Drag and drop living, squirming, talking, globs of goo to build structures, bridges, cannonballs, zeppelins, and giant tongues. The millions of Goo Balls that live in the beautiful World of Goo are curious to explore – but they don't know that they are in a game, or that they are extremely delicious.
Mysterious Levels
Each level is strange and dangerously beautiful, introducing new puzzles, areas, and the creatures that live in them.
World of Goo Balls
Along the way, undiscovered new species of Goo Ball, each with unique abilities, come together to ooze through reluctant tales of discovery, love, conspiracy, beauty, electric power, and the third dimension.

World of Goo is a true classic, and it's revered for good reason. It's instantly accessible but with plenty of depth; it's paced out perfectly, with a steady stream of new tricks and techniques to learn; and its puzzles can be solved with forward-thinking, quick reflexes or a mixture of both. Wrapped up in a unique, pleasantly apocalyptic presentation, with co-op support and a harder 'OCD' mode for added replay value, this is a complete puzzle package. If you've played it previously, the Switch incarnation might be worth a second go for its portable pointer controls and on-the-go co-op, but if it's your first time into the World of Goo it's absolutely a must-play, and this is — in our minds — the definitive version.

It's hard to go wrong with a game by Tomorrow Corporation, though I must admit World of Goo did not land quite as perfectly with me as it might with other fans of the action-puzzle genre. At its heart, this is a simplified structural engineering game that challenges the player to find their way across gaps and other obstacles in the most efficient possible way. I love the design, the humor, and the sound effects. The puzzles are a bit too challenging for my limited thinking capacity in this realm, though your mileage may vary. Note: this is a Joy-Con motion (think Wii remote pointer) or touchscreen-only game; the Pro Controller is not supported.
