The Switch's Complete Edition is a truly impressive achievement, and although performance isn't perfect, it's still an incredible and impactful role-playing experience. I did not have a PlayStation 4 in 2019, so I was thrilled to be able to play The Witcher III on my Nintendo Switch. Yes, the visuals take a pretty substantial hit compared to the PS4 / X1 / PC editions, but this is an absolute miracle to be running at all on the Switch.
The game itself is one of the greatest and best I have ever played. All of the DLC is here, which when combined with the main campaign can easily give you at least 100 hours of enjoyment.
I strongly recommend you play The Witcher III on a stronger platform; several years after completing everything on Switch, I downloaded and played it again on my PS5. This is a really gorgeous game, and deserves to be seen in clear, sharp 1080p or 4K resolution. That said, if Nintendo Switch is your only option, this is still a must-play.
