Vampire Survivors is a time survival game with minimalistic gameplay and roguelite elements.

Hell is empty, the devils are here, and there's no place to run or hide. All you can do is survive as long as you can until death inevitably puts an end to your struggles. Gather gold in each run to buy upgrades and help the next survivor.

This game is the very definition of an addictive, satisfying gameplay loop. It has been described as a "reverse bullet hell," but I might also call it a "single-stick auto-shooter." It is very, very easy to learn, and its Rogue-like elements will keep you coming back over and over and over again.
The developer regularly pumps out huge chunks of new content, often for free, and even the paid DLC is cheap. You will never run out of things to do, if you're enjoying the game.
My only complaint is that, once you have a ton of weapons rolling and waves of enemies pouring in (usually late in a 30-minute run), the Nintendo Switch struggles a bit to keep up. Hopefully, it will be further optimized on Nintendo Switch 2. Even with its technical issues, this is still one of the best games on the platform. Highly recommended!
