About

Suika Game also known as Watermelon Game: You have to drop a fruit into a box If two of the same fruits touch each other, they'll merge into a bigger fruit.

To prevent the fruits from overflowing from the box, collide the same kind of fruit. As you collide fruits, their types change. Let's create big watermelons!

This is a game where you combine two small fruits to make them larger and create big watermelons.

A couple of years ago, a Japanese company called Aladdin X released a digital projector, and it included a fun little fruit game called Suika Game as part of its software. Suika Game was so well received by people who bought the projector that the company decided to port a version of it to Switch, but the game launched there to almost no audience response. Then, two years later, it randomly became a viral sensation in Japan after a few streamers made it popular. Now it’s quietly made its way to the eShop outside of Japan, and while it’s admittedly very basic, it’s hard to say that Suika Game lacks appeal.

It's cheap, it's simple, it's easy to learn, it's challenging, it's fun, and it's addictive. The viral hit of 2023 remains an essential part of any Nintendo Switch collection. I couldn't quit playing Suika Game, even though I only managed to complete a watermelon chain once (you'll understand once you've played for a few minutes). Again, it's priced right; for just a few dollars / euros / pounds, you've got a great little time-killer on your hands. Recommended! If you enjoy this, also try PuzzMiX.

As a late night, before bed, try and get to sleep, time waster, it does the job well. Fun in that "one more go" way. Haven't tried the multiplayer features, but the base game has enough content to keep you happy. At the price - no brainer to give it a go.
