Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is an Action-RPG where you hunt down monsters to build better monster hunting equipment. Unfortunately, the interface is awkward, there are numerous frustrating elements built into the game’s design, and the game’s tutorial is a master-class in how not to design a tutorial. If at all possible, play this game’s more recent sequel Monster Hunter Rise and stay away from this one.

This is classic Monster Hunter at its finest. Absolutely hundreds of hours of content, but enough variety in monsters and gameplay styles to not feel stale. Great for veterans of the franchise, and a good entry point to classic Monster Hunter for new fans. One of my most played Switch games.
