What do you get when you mix Professor Layton with Adventure Time? The comparison doesn't even begin to do it justice, but that's vaguely what to expect from the brilliant Later Alligator, brought to you by the brains and pens that made Baman Piderman (as well as a couple of episodes of the aforementioned Adventure Time).

I really wanted to like Later Alligator. It's very cute, and some of the writing is genuinely funny. Ultimately, I think my problems with it are a result of me just not liking the point-and-click adventure genre very much.
The good:
- Humorous art style
- Delightful characters
- Funny writing

- You really need to enjoy point-and-click adventures / mystery-solving games to get the most out of this
- Some puzzles / mini-games can be tedious and require perfect responses / button prompts, or else you can get stuck repeating the same portion of the game over and over

This wasn't for me, but that shouldn't reflect on the game's overall quality.
