The ultimate M-KAI package, this three-strong historical evolution is the purest distillation of the developer’s vision for the shoot-em-up. Eschatos’ beautiful bombast will suck you in, fire up the adrenaline, and spit you back out with an instant just-one-more-go mindset. If that’s not worth diving into, why are you playing games at all?

If you're turned off by the relatively high price for a 2011 Xbox 360 port of a 2.5-D vertical scrolling shoot-'em-up, consider that Eschatos is actually three games in one. In addition to the titular game, which by itself is quite good, you get two earlier Japanese mobile phone shooter ports: Judgment Silversword and Cardinal Sins.
All three games were developed by the same one-person creator, M-KAI, and all three share some similarities. The primary gimmick shared by all three is the defined and telegraphed patterns in which enemies appear. Don't be fooled, though; the challenge is still quite high and will keep you coming back for more.
All three games look and sound great. Highly recommended for STG fans of all skill levels!
