Rose is a human and half dragon. One day, she wanders into a world called Tree of time, with a fairy instead of her parents.
This is a wonderful roguelike game. If Rose falls during her adventure, she loses all items and the level is reset. And because the dungeon transforms with every play through, the quest will never be the same.
Your courage and growth will be the power you need to clear the dungeon!
Turn-based gameplay
Both Rose and enemies take turns performing actions. You can think about what to do next over time.
The Fang system
Rose can wear fangs of monsters and gain their abilities. There are more than 200 kinds of monsters. You can combine the capabilities of your favourite monsters.
The Brave system
Rose powers up by fighting in eight surrounding squares without obstacles.
This game also includes Ranking, Item warehouse, Monster's gallery, Achievements, Mini puzzle, and Dungeon for advanced players.

Get past the iffy localisation and maybe the cutesy characters if you have to, and DragonfangZ is a fun and interesting genre mash up. The roguelike element makes it ideal for a quick pick up and play session, but you'll also be rewarded if you invest more time to build up stats and learn the increasingly deep systems that are more in line with traditional JRPGs. All in all, it's simple-looking yet increasingly deep experience, one that can be as absorbing as it is perplexing.
